Industrial interior design, spaciousness all around and between each table, which I love.
I ordered the stuffed lobster plate “Langosta Rellena”. The price was marked “Market price”, which turned out to be $80 on my bill last night. If you love seafood, this place in Hickory is a MUST TRY.
My plate was delicious! Fries were crispy on the outside and perfectly firm. The sourdough roll that they garlic-buttered and toasted?? AMAZING.
Btw, the stuffed lobster plate is HUGE. You can easily feed 3 people with this plate alone. I ended up packing 2/3 home.
Great service by the senorita behind the bar. Prompt seating. HUGE menu, with beautiful pictures of each plate, and the food comes out exactly as pictured haha. I will return to try other dishes!
Great place for family dinners or date nights.
**EDIT** I took my parents and 2 kids back to this place for dinner on 9/1/2025 and the bill came to me with 18% TIP added to my total. I’m NOT okay with this as the waiter only returned to refill our waters one time. SO READ YOUR RECEIPT in case you double tip.

The fish tacos was a good portion. The breading on the fish was okay, not the best for tacos. The guacamole was delicious! The salsas were actually spicy compared to other Mexican restaurants. The seafood mocajete was very full and boiling when it came out. There was a lot of fish and imitation crab mixed with other quality seafood meat. Overall, we enjoyed it. The floor and walls were beautifully painted and the bathroom decor was a perfect match in theme.

I can’t even review the food because they hung up on me while I was asking a simple question. I called them around 12:50pm eastern time because my mom wanted to try their food. This would’ve been our first time trying the food. I decided to call and see if I can carry out my order because we’re also busy. I called and asked if they do take outs and if I can order. The lady on the phone said “No, I don’t think so.” I stayed on the call for 2 minutes after that response and there was no one talking anymore. Sadly, this is the only review I’ve ever written and it had to be a bad one. I’m sorry but I’m never coming here after that interaction.

I ordered ye el vallartaro soup on door dash and my crab legs tasted and smelled like ammonia.I had to throw up the food. Widest variety of seafood dishes around. They serve complementary dry ceviche with chips and salsa and it is fantastic, hot sauce is HOT. Platters seem expensive but they are extremely large and delicious so you get your money’s worth. Seafood stuffed pineapple was great and margaritas came fast and were under $10. Favorite Mexican restaurant in hickory area.

I must say, the food was absolutely fantastic. This is surprising considering Mexican food isn’t my favorite. The red snapper was fried perfectly. The birria tacos were perfectly cooked. The fresh ceviche and variety of salsas were amazing. Seriously Ive passed this place 1000x no joke and can’t believe I slept on this deliciously authentic spot. And their limeade reminded me of my mom’s. Will be a regular customer. Looking forward to bringing my parents here!
