The food at Mariscos El Navegante was fantastic! The seafood is prepared with fresh, bold flavors and unique Mexican seasonings—everything we tried was full of vibrant taste. The food was absolutely worth the price—it’s clear they use fresh ingredients and put effort into their dishes. However, the service left a bit to be desired. We visited about an hour before closing, and it seemed like the staff was more focused on their closing duties than attending to the customers in the restaurant. I had an empty drink cup for most of my meal and had to wave someone down to get a refill. I get that they were trying to wrap up, but it made the experience less enjoyable. I’d still go back for the food, though—it was that good!

We ordered La Torre de Mariscos & thought it was delicious because it came with scallops, but when we got it, it only contained 2 pieces, so we were a little disappointed, but overall the food, including the tacos at El Navegante, was great.

first time at this place and it was an awesome experience. the place inside looked great from the old building and the food was delicious. the ladies were so nice and funny. they really did a fantastic job waiting on tables. I will go back soon

Fairly good fish ceviche served in a bar environment. Loud and poorly lit, with a heavy emphasis on drinking. They had UFC style fighting on the TVs. With lots of friendly and attractive staff, this definitely felt more like a place to come after work with friends to drink and flirt with the pretty waitresses or the handsome bartender, not a place to take the in-laws or the wife and kids.

Food tasted really good but the amount of shrimp they put in the shrimp tacos is very little compared to other seafood places around the area like (Mariscos el Rey or Bodega 23). All that I ordered for lunch was one shrimp taco and one shrimp ceviche tostada — no drink or anything extra. My total was $17 something which I think is a bit outrageous? The tostada is 8.99 but not even Bodega 23 has those prices for the tostadas and they’re bigger.

I attended to this place and I had aguachiles and they were disgusting. They weren’t made properly. Estaban chiclosos. La persona que los hizo no sabe preparar camarones. I was not able to eat them and I paid $25 dlls for them. I literally left the whole place, since I only ate 2 and the avocado. I do not recommend this place.
