The drinks I got a mango strawberry margarita that was good. Me my sis nd mom got the tamarindo drink. Wasn’t tamarindo we are Cuban and we now what tamarindo taste like. The have shops and salsa as soon you sit down. The portion size aren’t big to share one place since everything is pricey. We got the shrimp rancho and garlic. Taste really good. No enough shrimp like was worth it. You you wanna grab a good margarita it’s okay other than that I personally didn’t like it that much. My sis like it.
I would check it out if I was in the area for good seafood.
Likes: customer service, cleanliness, and Pina colada was great.
Neutral: complimentary app bag of tostadas with spicy onion water and a tomato soup accompanied with a headed prawn….
Dislikes: portion sizes, no sides for 35.00 just a little amount of seafood. By little I mean one crab claw which one leg was broken off, less than ten shrimp, and 4 mussels. If not for my drink I would have left hungry. First initial taste was salty, They don’t have water in a glass so she charged me for a water bottle I didn’t even touch.( I took after my bill came Bc I was charged for it)Charged me for using my debit card. And the worse the VERY WORSE PART OF ALL! MY SHRIMP WAS OVER COOKED!!!! It was a struggle getting them out of the shell ♀️
Been traveling since Colorado and finally found great Mariscos/ (Mexican seafood)!!
We are used to a lot of Mexican food in Denver, really been missing it. Stopped in (Arizona, & New Mexico were good) Oklahoma, Nebraska, Iowa, MO, Illinois, …
finally found some great comfort food, music & environment!!
Oh, yes, great service also, & the best Pinà Colada I’ve ever had!!
Looks like they are putting in a new patio out front.
Place was really busy but, not “over-run”
Mariscos El Najar rocks!
I rarely write reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was so disappointing that I feel others should know.
The shrimp I ordered was raw, which is unacceptable and unsafe to serve. On top of that, the food was extremely overpriced for the quality we received. Even basic items like tostadas and tortillas were charged extra, which felt ridiculous given the cost of the meal.
The service was just as bad as the food. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, and the restaurant itself had an unpleasant smell the entire time we were there.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for good food, good service, or a clean environment.
Services is HORRIBLE! No one followed up with us, except one time. After our food was served. I had to ask for extra plates, napkins etc. I ordered the molcajete, it was a 4/10.
What made me even more upset was the I didn’t even get the check, I had to go up to the register to ask for the check. (They bring the check to the table). Turns out I was going to be charged for the raw nuggets, after I asked her why I’m being charged for the nuggets the lady made a face, while smacking her gum and removed them.
We will NEVER be back. I’ll be going to Mariscos Mi Tierra or anywhere else.
