The food is pretty good. I feel the staff needs more training. 3 times in one month I have gone to eat and once I get my food, no one comes to check if I need water or ask if everything is OK. I see the staff spend more time talking than taking care of your customers when there is only 3 tables with people. If a customer puts their empty cup to the edge of the table, that usually means they need more of that drink. I think I was more upset when the girl asked me if I wanted to leave a tip knowing you never asked if I needed more water. Please do better because the food is good.

The service was downright awful me and a friend were there for almost 2 hours and we didn’t get our food we had to ask for it to go before we got it. We had to ask for salsa after they brought us chips we sat there for about 45 minutes eith both of our drinks empty before our waitress came to check on us. Whe we finally ate our food we didn’t get the correct stuff we ordered and it all tastes terrible.

My husband and I tried this place out for lunch. I can state the service was good, the atmosphere was not hype just a simple, but enjoyable. Now the food was REALLY GOOD & A Big Portion!! I got Shrimp w/ Cilantro Sauce & he got a Chicken Fried Steak. All I can say is HANDS DOWN!!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING!! I would definitely drive 2hrs to bring the Family to dine in!

This is our stop before heading to Laredo Texas. It use to be El Paraiso sadly there food can’t compare to Marisco El Jarocho. The Chicken fried steak has a new home in Texas! That’s found here
