When I say this place has one of the best shrimp burritos I’ve ever had, I truly mean it. I’ve had shrimp burritos all over California — including San Diego — and this one is easily at the top of the list. The shrimp is cooked perfectly, the burrito is super flavorful, and everything inside is balanced so well that you don’t have to add anything. It’s just fire as-is.

Their shrimp tacos are also legit and absolutely worth ordering — super tasty and packed with flavor.

Overall, this spot is a 10/10 for me. If you’re in the area, it’s a must-stop. And if it’s your first time here, they even give you a free taco.

Fireee! The reviews didn’t lie. Food was bomb and made freshly to order in their outdoor kitchen. I’ve been seeing more of these family owned at home kitchen restaurants and I fully support that – esp if they are cooking up truly delicious homemade stuff.

Call to pick up or drive to their neighborhood and park on the streets to order in person.
There’s 2 tables with about 8 chairs or so around and it’s a cozy seating situation, but I picked up togo since the other table out of the sun was taken

The family greeted me and I let them know it was my first time and they kindly offered a Dorados on the house which was sweet!

It was creamy, filled with shrimp, freshly made. Stayed crispy when I brought it home to eat.

I also enjoyed their Baja fish taco and a Pulpo (octopus) taco. Both excellent but I really liked their octopus the most given it was tender and flavorful. Best octopus I’ve had in a minute.

Went back and tried their Aguachiles verde. No skimping on the shrimp and really fresh and flavorful. awesome stuff

Excited to try their loaded fries, the Ahogadas (the same as dorados but splashed with a tomato salsa ) and probably a burrito next time! It looks sooo good. Glad to have a Mariscos place not too far from me and that it’s locally owned.

I’m giving this restaurant a well-deserved 5 stars for the food! I ordered the ceviche de camarón tostada, and it was absolutely delicious. I also got to try my guy’s aguachile, and they were just as flavorful. The seasoning was spot on—I didn’t feel the need to add anything extra, which says a lot.

As for the service, I’m giving it 4 stars. The staff was friendly and attentive, but they were a bit busy, so there were moments when service was slightly slower. Nothing major, just something to note.

The atmosphere also gets 4 stars. It’s an outdoor setup in a yard, which I personally found really comfortable and enjoyable. However, I know some people might prefer a more traditional indoor setting, so I wanted to mention it for those who care about that.

Overall, the food alone makes this place worth visiting—I’ll definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed the food very much. Service was awesome. Octopus tacos, shrimp fried tacos, regular tacos, chiveche, and shrimp cocktail were all good. Pro Tip: Thursdays have specials!

Update: service is still too notched. Food is still amazing.

Fast service, great food, quick pickup for online orders or dine outdoors on the spot. The owners are friendly & offer a few spots on their property to park. There’s also parking on the neighborhood streets. Everything tastes fresh & homemade. Top 5 tacos in El Sereno

OMG this place was a great find. My partner and I wanted mariscos but didn’t want to drive far and found this place 3 mins away from us! They offer a free taco dorado (hard shell shrimp taco with potato and cheese, topped with cabbage, crema, and guac dressing) to first time customers and they were made to perfection!
I ordered the shrimp cóctel and my partner ordered the aguachile— they were phenomenal. Service was quick, they take phone orders, and they do catering too! We will definitely be back!

Located in the yard of a house. They gave us a free taco for each new customer which was nice of them. The Diablo shrimp had a great spice that was manageable for me and lots of flavor with plenty of shrimp. It is a bit on the heavy side so a drink will be necessary on the side.

Food was good. Honestly, my parents come here and I had a long day with my grandma by treating her out. Took her here and she had to use the bathroom but they unfortunately didn’t have any. I wouldn’t mind if the situation was for me, but they said no to my grandma (considering they have tables and chairs for you to eat at their house – which legally they should have it available)…. My grandma who could barely walk up their driveway with her cane! They told us to go to Food for Less. That alone left a bad taste in my mouth considering they are a family owned business. For me, family is everything but telling me to take my grandma back down their uphill driveway to food for less? No way, they are lucky we stood there and ate.
