This is an amazing restaurant. This is by far the best food I’ve eaten in Denver. The wait staff is super friendly. Our food was prepared quickly. While we waited we had margaritas and salsa. The food and drinks are very reasonably priced. The night we ate here, there was two live bands. The restaurant features a stage and a dance floor, good music and lots of tvs.

This place has gone downhill and is nothing like it used to be. When we walked in we were seated to the right of the restaurant and the whole section smelled like bathroom/sewage. We had to request another table as we couldn’t get past the smell. Hostess gave us the option of a Colombian food menu or Mexican, we selected Mexican the only thing we’d ever known there.
Our order consisted of two Mar y Tierra molcajetes which should have included chicken, steak, shrimp, chorizo, green onions and cheese. Neither came with shrimp, green onions, or cheese, and instead of chorizo one had a hot dog and the other an Italian sausage. When we pointed this out the waitress simply said “oh yes you’re right”. Then I requested the cheese on the side and she brought out pepper jack slices instead of the Mexican panela cheese it used to be. The salsa in the molcajetes was so different and very mild, tasted like tomatoes. We all requested flour tortillas and were brought out corn. When I asked our waitress she claimed they didn’t carry flour tortillas which I accepted but in retrospect, what do you make the burritos on the menu with? We had also placed an appetizer order of plain fresh oysters about 15 minutes prior to our food order and that came out well after our main meals. Because of this there was no room on the table and plates with hot food were hanging off.
Service was horrible. I’m really not one to complain so it made for a very awkward interaction with the waitress as she’d come back very infrequently and every time she did I had something to point out or request. And frankly I was way more apologetic than her for their mistakes. She never refilled my kids drinks and when my husband and I requested new ones they came back about 20+ mins later at the very end of our meal.
Needless to say after years of frequenting this restaurant we will no longer go back. Maybe they’re trying to establish as a Colombian restaurant and that’s now their forte (wouldn’t know I didn’t try) but I do know they are failing miserably as a “Mexican” Restaurant.
Beware of the 18% automatic gratuity for subpar service.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Very rude waitress. Had to ask multiple times for tostadas and the waitress was very PETTY she brought a taco shell (as seen in picture) and said is this is good enough and walked away. Did not appreciate the looks my family and I kept getting from the waitress and the laughing and pointing. Our food was wrong, no drinks were ever refilled and the waitress kept arguing with us instead of helping fix the issue. When spoken to the manager her response was “they’re Columbians” not sure how this should excuse them from being rude or messing up our order.

Never coming back again here my bf and i work to much and decided to go out for a beer and appetizer they serve me hot beer and when i told the waiter he took it told the manager and he said that no the beer was fine it tasted really bad so he came back and said if i want to buy different ones so i just got my bill and left im so sad and disappointed just wanted a nice nigth out

Food has gone down in quality. Not what it used to be unfortunately will not be returning. I spoke with the server and she did mention they changed management about a month ago. The new management ruined what used to be a decent restaurant .

Update 10-24-21 the service wasn’t what it usually is, the waitress was only serving my table for the first half we were there the rest of the time she didn’t go to out table and the hostess was the one to give us a to go box and gave us our check. Ps the bartender tonight was very rude tonight, the lady had blue tips on her black hair.

This place is the bomb. You know when they say dont judge a book by its cover well I sure did, but when I decided to come try it, it completely changed my mind. Is a really good restaurant there food is great even there chips and salsa is good. A lot of sea food plates on the menu, I got a posole and my son got chicken flautas he even says is good. I recommend it.
