Tried Mario’s Pizza & Pasta in Saddle Brook for the first time and I’ll definitely be coming back! The food was outstanding, the staff went above and beyond, and the menu has so many options that I can’t wait to explore more.
The chicken cutlet wrap and lomo steak sandwich were absolutely incredible – highly recommend both. And whatever you do, don’t forget to ask for the green sauce, it takes everything to another level!
Already looking forward to my next visit. Mario’s is a gem, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

What a great place! First off the service was excellent . Very attentive, patient and answered all our questions. Pizza was delicious…..the softness of middle with perfect crust. Empanadas were bomb All of them!!! Red and Green chimicurris and the garlic mayo were perfect on EVERYTHING.
First time here and will not be the last. Can’t wait to try the sandwiches next time

Pizza review time! Marios has been around for almost 30 years and in the same location in saddle brook right next to the Burger King. The pizza was very good. It was light and the crust was good. The slice was almost an oversize but definitely only needed two to fill me up. Nice ratio of sauce and cheese and very friendly service. Steady stream of customers coming in and out and phone ringing off the hook with orders. Grazie!

I got the shrimp scampi and a spinach empanada while I waited.
The pasta was cooked properly. The shrimp were large which usually turns me away because more often than not it’s a trick to charge $20 for pasta and 2 shrimp. But there was 5 or 6 in there. I think it was a relatively good value even if I would have liked to either see the pasta tin go up one size or the shrimp come descaled which mine weren’t.
I also want to add in real quick since I’m very picky with shrimp that these weren’t cooked to the point of being rubbery, and they had good taste too.
The empanada tasted like it came out of a bakery. I was very impressed with the baking. There was also a very respectable ratio of spinach and cheese.
The empanada came with some kind of salty tomato and green sauces. They were very similar in taste because of how salty they were I had to drink them straight out of the cup to really judge them. (After dousing them on the empanada!) I liked them because I love salt but wouldn’t suggest them to anyone getting ready to take pictures.
Overall I like this place. The shrimp scampi would have gotten 3 stars in a sit own place that charges $30 per plate but it was also slightly better than many of those kinds of places.
You get the feeling the owner came up with these recipes cooking at home and then decided on a fair price rather than just making up the most outrageous number he might scam someone out of.
This is a special place and I think you’d be doing yourself a disservice to only get a pizza here. Will be back!

Ordered a half cheese and half buffalo pizza and got charged for buffalo pizza a whole $29. Thats just backwards. No longer supporting them

Wow, amazing pizza stopped here because I had a flat tire all good things come outta bad situations ! Amazing pizza ingredients top notch. great atmosphere, had the baseball game on! Really nice spot definitely coming back ! Two cheese pizza and a soda 8 bucks can’t beat that.

I cannot believe my luck in discovering this amazing pizzeria in Saddle Brook! Marios! Not only do they serve delicious pizza, but they also have empanadas. I tried the beef empanadas, which are made in the Argentinian style and baked instead of fried, giving them a healthier twist without sacrificing flavor. We also grabbed some pizza to go and it was absolutely outstanding. The friendly staff added to the great experience, and the desserts were incredible. To top it all off, I enjoyed a cappuccino that was simply great. This place is truly amazing and I highly recommend stopping by for a delicious and satisfying meal.

Really love this place,food is pretty good,is my first time here,so we focus on pizza and empanadas.Fugazza( onion and cheese pizza)was excellent, floffy,full of onion and cheese,well bake.the empanadas,my favorite was chorizo ( sausage),for desert we had alfajor de maizena, and piece of pastafrola de membrillo(tipical argentina sweet) full of quince,fresh.wash it down with a espresso,happy with the service,quality of food,and ambiance,I highly recommend it.next time,I will try the pasta.
