I don’t know what it is but food trucks typically taste the most authentic and what I would expect from their original countries cooking. This was not a disappointment! Rich flavors and home style cooking are best! And eating this all with a Mexican Coke and out in the beautiful Florida weather, sounds like paradise to me

I finally had the opportunity to try Jalapeño Express as I often pass by on my way to the gym. I wish I stopped by sooner. The owners are very nice and helpful with recommendations as it was my first time. I tried the steak azada, shrimp, pastor (marinated pork), and chicken tacos. All were muy delicioso! I especially liked the shrimp, pastor and chicken. I can’t wait to try more… the birria, barbacoa and shrimp bowl next. I believe they will be adding chicken on its own to the menu, which I will definitely try if it’s like the chicken in the taco I had. Highly recommend!

Delish and so satisfying! I’m a big fan of Mexican foods. My friends offered to try their birra pizzadilla.
Pizzadilla, Karl
And OMG, it was such a great call! Home made tortillas! Wow so Nice and crisp from outside, soft and juicy inside. Generous amount of well cooked meat. Uffff yummy
But one of most important thing in any food servings – garnish and sauces
At this point Jalapeño express on top of that
I had, 4 different sauces. Birra sauce for the pizzadilla HEAVEN, so damn goood. Other sauces are incredible too; mild (orange color), a little spicy (green), and extremely spicy (red). So good!!! Well done guys.
I can tell place is worth it, if I save the sauce left overs for later. Even if there were nothing to save.
Good luck
I’ll come back for edible souvenirs for my husband on my way back to New York

Honest, clean, delicious, family run establishment. I keep coming back because they’re that good! Prices are great, food is delicious and consistent and I am always greeted and treated with a smile. Come see for yourselves!
Today’s pick: Carne Asada Tacos and Agua de piña y mango.

Decided to have dinner here one night during our vacation. The food was pretty good at least for myself and the kids , they had the two tacos with rice and beans included a drink combo and they said it was good. I had the asada torta and it was delicious, we got a asada burrito and four lengua tacos but the lengua tacos looked more like shredded beef and clumped together it was not appetizing. The burrito for $12 if way overpriced for the size and taste it was lacking. Overall food was good but pricing is off.

Best tacos in town, best place to have tacos in jax, limited parking on site however there is ample parking at gas station next to food truck. Have tables to accommodate approx 32 people. Worth trying.

Ate at one of their food trucks. I had a very enjoyable experience listening to Mexican music while waiting for their steak asada.

The first location I went to did not have the caramel churros that I wanted, but the other location just five minutes up the road did and one of the owners texted the other location and they were ready by the time I got down there! Totally worth going outta my way for! Amazing food and pleasant people.

Absolutely delicious! I was at the beach looking for a nearby place and found these guys on Google. Placed an order online through grubhub here on the app. When I went to pick it up they were not st this 3rd St address as stated. Called them, they said they are at 14006 Beach Blvd. Ok, that was 13 min away but whatever. When I went to pick it up they had no record of my order. Said they don’t use grubhub. I wondered how I would get my money back. I ended up getting what I ordered, which was adobo taco and el pastor taco w/rice & beans. DELICIOUS! Loved the green sauce and wished I had ordered more. I will be back! Hopefully they fix this Google info though.
