We ordered a 12” works ($23 before the extra cheese) so we ordered EXTRA cheese, when we got to Car and looked at it, it was hardly any cheese on top so I went back in and talked to the gentleman and he explained that put cheese underneath?? and on top, but I begged to differ there was no cheese underneath. First time hearing I’m very disappointed in the lack of concern, I was given, and the overall” I don’t care” attitude.
I don’t see cheese underneath lol – see pic below.

I sent this to them via email – no response – i called manager and was offered a free slice. Keep it. Go to Burke St pizza for better pizza and friendlier employees.

My niece and my mother were in there about 2 months ago and I was just made an aware of an incident that occurred. My niece is seven years old keep in mind. With their dinner, they got water and my niece got excited seeing cheerwine and before her grandmother noticed she used her cup to get cheerwine. Immediately an overzealous worker started loudly and emphatically reprimanding her from behind the counter. Her grandmother offered to pay for a soda and tried to explain they weren’t trying to steal just a mistake. The fool came out and made the child give her cup, poured the drink out and scolded her. It was apparently such an excessive display that another gentleman stepped in and again offered to just buy the soda. I’m not sure you are aware of this but if you are I would like to follow up on how this was handled and if you are not then you should have a discussion with how to handle telling a 7 year old girl politely that she needs to make sure she gets what she ordered. It wasn’t an issue of paying for a soda nor stealing bc we have “soda money” but to think that this young man that you employ just berated a 7 year old girl makes my blood boil. I’ve given you the opportunity to respond and follow up via email instead of posting the incident on google reviews/yelp/etc.

First time coming here and I love a good steak and cheese sub and this place did NOT disappoint!! Got it Mario’s way (minus the tomatos cuz I don’t like them) & I told my boyfriend that it was even better then our usual go to place. My boyfriend got a chicken philly and also enjoyed his. We also got a pizza to go and it was perfect. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area!

Pizza has a sweeter sauce that supports the cheese, not gummy or too tangy like lots of canned sauces end up being. Crust is thin and crispy with just a touch of dusting flour. Tastes hand thrown. Large serving size.
Bread on the Italian hoagie was stellar: soft, warm, and it collapses under your teeth instead of fighting you. I wish there was some spicy capacola or something on the Italian in addition to the salami and generic ham. Everything tasted fresh and locally made. It’s a good stop for lunch – no fuss, just good food.
Single person restroom.
Floors in the restaurant were very clean. Refillable drink station and water.
Lots of natural light from the wall of windows. Booth seating throughout.

Staff seems like they are in a rush, which can come off rude. But the food is A1. They have daily specials. I will be back to try the pizza.

We went because the reviews were very good but I was so disappointed. I got a sausage with peppers and onions, the sausage was so hard and over cooked i just tossed it out, I also got boneless wings I debating on throwing them out the pizza was Yuge yes I said Yuge not huge and pretty decent. I probably won’t come back for two reasons just passing through and I got a better pie somewhere else in town.

Stopped to have slice of pizza and salad today. I could not get past the price! ONE “slice” of pizza is like $12.99 and by the time I got a drink and salad, I could go eat a steak almost! I see where below it said a slice was 4 bucks. IT IS NOT! THESE WERE NOT the prices I was given or i would have stayed. Financial suicide, over pricing themself out of Biz is what that is…. Owner prices clearly just gouging customers! Is their gold in their food? No wonder it was lunch time and only one person eating inside. Looked like a nice place, but I left. Usually not as picky, but If I am going to be robbed blind, At least ware a mask. I went somewhere else where I got a whole pizza vs a slice, a salad, a drink, and breadsticks that still came to less, and it was really good too. Just not being abused financially with a merchant clearly price gouging its customers. It blew my mind, and i eat out at all kinds of restaurants all the time.

response, like I said, If I have to pay gouging prices, I add alittle to it and settle on a steak dinner, Big slice or not. I mentioned this to 3 people, and 1st reply was, yea, they are outrageous.” So, not only one feeling owner is gouging. Might consider reg size and reg price sometime. Might get more returns vs price points with high pricing. Hard to break even for customer. Thanks just the same.

Food and fountain drinks are overpriced. The lasagna was very bland. Would not suggest. I was tempted to go back and get a refund it was just not good. Very greasy over load on cheese and also not well seasoned. The garlic knots out came with was the highlight of the meal. Probably the worst lasagna I’ve had for $17.

Their wings are incredible and the pizza is fantastic. The staff was really helpful and there are actually a lot of things on the menu that are not pizza and wings as well if you want like a salad or something else. They also have vegan cheese options if that’s your vibe.
