I ordered a variety of wraps from Mario’s for a party today, and they were a huge hit! Everything was super fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. The wraps were generously filled and stayed together really well no mess, just great food.
The staff was friendly and helpful when I placed the order, and pickup was right on time. You can tell they use quality ingredients and take pride in what they make. Everyone at the party kept asking where the wraps were from!
Highly recommend Mario’s if you’re catering a get-together or just want a great lunch. I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Extremely Disappointing Experience – Ignored and Forgotten
My son and I visited Mario’s Deli today, May 17, 2025, around 12:45 PM, and it was hands down the worst deli experience I’ve ever had. We walked in and were completely ignored by the staff for a full 15 minutes. It wasn’t until another customer came in and looked ready to order that I had to speak up and point out that we hadn’t been served.
I placed a simple order for two sandwiches: one plain turkey sandwich and one half pastrami with American cheese and mustard. After another 15 minutes passed, during which at least four other customers who came in after us received their orders, our sandwiches were still nowhere in sight. When I inquired, the staff claimed they “might’ve fell somewhere” and they couldn’t find our order ticket.
By this point, my son had been waiting patiently for 45 minutes just to get a simple sandwich. I had to specifically ask them to please, quickly make my son’s sandwich as he was very hungry.
I always try to be understanding and avoid confrontation, but this level of disregard and inefficiency is unacceptable. Waiting 45 minutes for two basic sandwiches, being ignored, and then told our order was lost is beyond frustrating. This experience has unfortunately pushed me to share this negative review. We will not be returning to Mario’s Deli.

Food tasted good enough and was ready fast but if you’re trying to get an authentic philly cheesesteak, I advise you to look elsewhere. The steak was not sliced or chopped at all, and the onions were not evenly distributed. Although yummy, it felt like eating a hamburger.

Small town deli with big time service. Excellent food and delicious meats. Girls are super attractive tive behind counter and the cook motors through orders.
They are cash only so be prepared and they run out of bagels quick on a busy day so don’t come to late.

I went to Mario’s on March 16, 2025. I was very impressed. The hot pastrami sandwiches and the turkey sandwiches were excellent!! They give you a generous portion and it’s worth the value. The service was excellent. They worked very fast and efficiently. When I had to make an unintended change to my order they were very accommodating. Highly recommend. Just a note, it’s cash only.

Just stopped in there for the first time the staff was very friendly. I got a ham and cheese omelette with home fries and I have to say the omelette was completely packed with ham it was a very large omelette too good home fries and the amount of food they give you for the price, it’s absolutely worth it. I have nothing bad to say whatsoever. Definitely worth a try.

everyone in this place seem to know everyone else which gave it a cool family feel like it’s the go-to spot for people in West Milford. I was just passing through but I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious the bagel sandwich was. They don’t even call themselves a bagel place as much as a deli, but when you’re inside it does feel more like a bagel place. The prices were about normal, not too expensive but not too cheap either.
