There are a lot of good things to say about this restaurant. The place is nice and welcoming, the staff are very friendly, and there are a plethora of options to choose from at amazing prices! You can easily get two rolls and be filled. The portions are great, and everything tastes fresh, and the flavors in the rolls blend very well together. It is a locally known place off the beaten path, and it is right next to a print shop in a building complex. Parking is in the back and is decently sized, though it is run down.

I tried this restaurant because I was craving sushi and it was near work. It was good quality but I have had fresher so I wouldn’t go out of my way to get it again. Parking at the restaurant was an issue and a bit confusing. I didn’t see any parking on the side or in front so I parked at the storage facility next door. They had posted “no parking” signs so I can in to ask where to park. There is a parking lot in the back but it was nearly full as there are multiple businesses in the building and I believe apartments as well. The lady working was very nice but the guy seemed annoyed to be working. I had ordered ahead and the food was available at exactly the quoted time.

+ Taste: Not the most Amazing rolls but they’re pretty good for the price (compared to several others around the campus)
– Parking lot is behind the building. So you will have to walk a bit to pick up the food. This can be tricky for ppl with kids (No easy curbside pick-up).
– noticed price variations among different online ordering sites (for pickup orders with “no fees”)

Do not let the fact that they are located as a storefront in a sad looking 1970’s split level commercial building deter you. This is some seriously good food. Very small inside, only seats about 25, and the bathrooms are a walk behind the curtain, into the kitchen. Strange, but ignore.
We had apps, sushi, and a chicken teriyaki bowl. Everything was absolutely delicious. We will return.

Rarely do delivery for sushi, but really wasn’t in the mood to move. Decided to give KYIRA a try. We really enjoyed every roll we got. I always worry about the condition of the rolls when they arrive. They did an amazing job boxing the rolls and showed up looking beautiful. The price for the rolls was very generous as well. Would prefer to go sit down at the restaurant, but this worked out great for a lazy Sunday.

My friend recommended me to try here cause she loved the strawberry roll they had! I got the crunchy California roll, sweet shrimp dragon roll, and the chicken egg rolls. I thought ordering all that food would save me a lunch but it was so good! The pricing was surprising because of how good the quality was, service, quickness with the order, presentation, and cheap price for how much you get! I will definitely come back!

This is one of the most reasonable but very authentic sushi joints in Lexington.
They do stay very busy with DoorDash, so don’t expect to eat in past 3 as they close the dining area, and parking is in the rear of the building and easy to pass up…
