Wow! I love veal. The last time I had veal this good was at a small place in Brooklyn with about 8 tables. That was about 45 yrs ago. I was like 10 years old. Some people call it milk fed, others call it abuse. Whatever you call it, if you love veal, this is the place to go. AMAZING!!!

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat in Ocean County! We only found Mario’s a short time ago, but we love it here so much that we have been introducing friends to Mario’s. It gives us an excuse to come back! Clean restaurant and the food is Awesome!! Parking is a little tight, but everything else is perfect! Eat here just once, and you’ll be hooked!!

Had this place twice. Originally on a recommendation by a coworker and today went in for lunch with my boss and group from work at Community Options. Very picky about pizza being from North Jersey originally, but Mario’s has not disappointed at all. Reason Im giving it 4 out of 5 stars on food, is not a huge fan of the wings but otherwise great.

It was a take out order. I only ordered from here because of a recommendation. I will post photos so you know what I’m talking about. What was supposed to be a chicken cheesesteak turned out to be steak. Was not expecting to find a piece of bread in between the sub. The pizza was not cooked through that it had to be put on the barbecue to crisp up. I don’t mind paying for food that is good. The 2 children’s meals could have been less penne. Maybe the establishment is better when you eat in.

We just had the very best dining experience tonight at Mario’s. The waitress was adorable, attentive, and relatively new at her job. She obviously was thoroughly trained. The shrimp scampi was so fresh and delicious!! My husband’s linguine with clam sauce was outstanding! Guy Fieri, you would be impressed.

The best shrimp fra diavlo I ever had. Clams, mussels, shrimp. Sauce was excellent. Soup or salad and desert included. Went back last night and just as good. Everyone else enjoyed their meal and prices.

After reading the reviews online we finally decided to try Mario’s tonight for the first time and I am glad we did! We had a party of 5 with no reservation, yet we were seated in less than 10 minutes. Although they were busy and the dining room was full, service was excellent. Our waitress was fantastic. The food we ordered came at the perfect pace, and we never wanted for refills. You can taste how well prepared and home cooked the food is. Everything was full of flavor and delicious. My only 2 complaints (VERY VERY MINOR) have nothing to do with the food – dining room was loud (again it was dinner time on a Saturday so it should be expected) and parking is tight. The food and service more than make up for that. We’ll certainly be back it was excellent and the staff should be commended for how awesome they are!
