THIS IS THE BAKERY YOU ARE LOOKING FOR! The most delicious pastry creations I’ve had on this side of the Atlantic. The star behind Marilette Pâtissere is Victoria, and you’ll find her behind the counter every morning, welcoming you try her incredible pastries. She does laminated dough perfectly – try the orange croissant roll! Flaky layers of dough, topped with sticky, delicious orange glaze that leave you wanting to lick the plate.
I just had her new Lemon Curd Cruffin. An incredible croissant in the form of a muffin, filled with vanilla pastry, cream, and lemon curd. I’m still dreaming about it, the only problem with this paâtisserie is that it leaves you wanting more, more, more!
It’s a must do for anyone visiting the Kohler area – just a few minutes down the road from the American Club.

The croissants are actual perfection. A slight flaky crisp to the outside, light and perfectly done inside. The cruffins with pastry cream taste like they were literally made by angels. The baguettes are marvelous. Victoria is wonderful and very kind, and she’s very thorough. If you want incredible pastries, Marilette has the absolute best.

Victoria is AHHH-MAZING! A top notch baker with undeniable talent. I am fully obsessed with all of her offerings, and also a little obsessed with the woman who helps her on the weekends. She is warm, welcoming, and adds to the magic.
Have you had the cruffins? Because dangerously good, which is evident by my winter weight. The ham and cheese croissants are the business. If you have not had this life changing experience you need to immediately! I see reviews about people driving long distances just to get here and honestly I get it. I personally make the long, emotional, and physically demanding journey all the way down the stairs and would do it again without question.
Bonus shoutout for wearing Lions jerseys on Sundays in full Packer country with an absolute IDGAF attitude. Iconic behavior. They also accept me in my pajamas which earns bonus points.

Great atmosphere, amazing and delicious pastries. Options for sweet and savory. Make sure to arrive as early as possible – there’s normally a line out the door and the owner sells out often!!! Victoria does a wonderful job.

Stopped in here over Labor Day weekend for a sweet treat recommended by our Airbnb host. The ladies inside were super friendly super chatty. The decor was simple but cute. But the pastries are amazing. We got there a little later in the day so we had limited choices so if you’re going, go early! But the chocolate and cream cheese filled croissant was the best thing I’ve tasted I think in most of my life. The brownie was ganache was the runner-up. I wish it was a little bit more of a cake brownie but I will suffer through it (not suffering) check this place out we’ll be back for sure!

Absolutely stunning!! From the delicious food/pastries, to the ambiance to the spectacular host… Ms. Victoria herself. It was all so fantastic! Highly recommend! Wish I didn’t have to drive so far for such fantastic home cooked baked goods. But it’s worth the drive for me!
