A great little bar, friendly, companionable. Great service. Fun stuff – a pool table, a wall of computer games, a couple tv’s of course. A great neighborhood hang-out. The best part is when you go through the door in the back to find yourself in the Slap Burger section. Such great burgers!

Not sure if you can find anyone friendlier than the folks that work at the bar or the kitchen. I ordered the OG cheeseburger and omg, it was really good. I will return next time I’m in town. Very limited seating.

If you want to experience New Orleans culture, this is the place to visit. Great burgers in the back, (Original Slap Burger) and very well priced drinks. We will definitely be returning.

Easily the best smashburger in New Orleans. Love the taste of the patty and the sauce. That bun just brings it all together. It’s perfection. Service is fast and friendly. At $10 for a single, it’s one heck of a deal.

They take cards for the food, but cash only for the bar. Bar is a bit tight. Nothing on tap. Still, very friendly bartenders, so you won’t even mind.

This is where Slap Burger is located, inside, in the back. The burgers were great each time I’ve visited, and I can’t wait until next time! You by pass yhe bar upright. I did order drinks from the bar both times, since Slap Burger doesn’t offer drinks. During my last visit, a really nice, female bartender charged my phone for me because it was completely dead

The original slap burger is awesome this is not about that. Me and my girlfriend were sitting waiting for our food and the kind of ogre like bartender came over and carded us both. I didn’t realize my id was expired… for 6 days… on my birthday… we both didn’t order any alcoholic drinks but she kicked us out. I’m 26 years old. Sad that the best burger in the city is guarded by a terrible troll.

This restaurant window is tucked in the back of a neighborhood hole in the wall bar. There are plenty of regulars hanging out, inside & out.

The ordering was very straight forward. The fries are crispy AF & the burger…..whoa. order it as it comes…or as god intended as Chad the owner says!

Sautéed onions, some kinda killer sauce, pickles, cheese & a superbly smashed thin patty with crispy edges on a grilled bun.

Cool hangout and burger joint in marigny. I’ve stopped in for a drink a few times but this was the first eating here. The smash burgers are legit good. The concept of smash burgers doesn’t make sense to me mostly because it’s never done right. That’s not the case here. It was perfectly cooked, crispy charged edges, not burnt. We split the heater double with fries and it was plenty for us. Too spicy for her, it was the right amount of heat for me. Enough to sweat a little without overpowering the rest of the flavors. The special heat sauce was slappin. The cold beer helps everything go down. The bartender was friendly and joking with everyone at the bar. Just another solid bar with good food and service, cash only!

The best burger in town, hands down! A friend showed me this place and I had to go back for more! The staff is lovely both at the bar and at the kitchen. You have to walk to the back to pay for your burger and at the bar to pay for your beer. If you’re in New Orleans this is a must. And it’s pet friendly!
