Old school diner close to downtown. The waiter was very attentive. The salsa seemed to be fire roasted, which was a nice touch, and the food was flavorful. Didn’t quite have room for the biscuits… next time.

Maria’s was suggested to my by multiple people. It was good, but not great or exceptional. Service was slow and was borderline rude. Not sure why this place is so popular and highly recommended. I had the machacado con huevo a la Mexicana. Comes with potatoes and beans. The beans were good. The potatoes were cold and stale. Both the red and green salsa was good.

The food was really good! And the service was excellent. We went around the noon hour and it wasn’t packed at all. Now remember they only except cash so make sure you feed the parking meter outside and enjoy your lunch.

The waitress was unfriendly. When my brother asked her for utensils she grabbed mine and said here. My brother told her to bring him his and she came back and practically threw them on the table. We had breakfast and it wasn’t that great. I would not return.

We were visiting from San Antonio and we wanted a good breakfast before we headed home, so we came upon Maria’s and we were all satisfied and very full when we were done. So I had the brkfst pancake special and a bowl of Oatmeal, omg just the way I remember as a kid, my mom had the brkfst special eggs, bacon, beans, potatoes, omg the beans were like my grandmas and huevos rancheros my bro got was delicious, overall I give them well done, and keep the good food coming. Maria’s will be our go to when we come again!! Thank you!
