I visited on a weekend with my family. The restaurant is large. The staff is hospitable, but the food was basic. I ordered the country-fried steak with crispy hash browns, scrambled eggs, and a biscuit. The hash browns were crispy, and the eggs were fine, but the steak’s gravy was barely flavorful. The biscuit tasted like baked bread – nothing more, nothing less. Apparently, the waffles were delicious and “spongey” in their relation to absorbing the syrup. For the most part, the food was bland; it was not seasoned. I’m sorry, but there was nothing substantially superior or exceptional about the food. In fact, IHOP is better. The service was okay except for the waiter neglecting to refill the table’s water pitcher after being requested. Also, you cannot split checks and, if you pay with a credit card, there’s a 4% surcharge. I will not be returning.

Do not eat from this place!!! There was a fly in my food. I called to let them know and I was told to bring my food back with the receipt. I told them I couldn’t leave work to do this at the moment and wouldn’t get off until 3pm. The guy told me to bring it back the next day with my receipt. The fact that they wanted me to hold onto the food with the fly overnight was disgusting. They didn’t want to do anything else but this which I feel they just wanted to inconvenience me

I’ve been coming here for years. Took a break during Covid and decided to stop in on a week day. The food was still decent, “diner-esque” type of food and service was satisfactory. There were only about 7 patrons total and unfortunately someone was playing music loud on their cellphone. Otherwise, I would definitely revisit when I’m not counting calories and have a taste for comfort food.

When I first got here it was super crowded but I got seated within 5 min so it’s not bad. The food was good and the crepes are super good and fluffy. The background music I will say is great. I like all the songs they played and it’s very relaxing. The staff is nice but because it’s so busy can’t be very personal. Which is fine because it’s understandable. I ordered my food and it didn’t take them that long to bring it out. The staff again is very nice. There is parking but it seems to be packed lol which is frustrating when trying to find parking but it goes to show you this place is busy for a reason. Lol which is a good thing.

My first time ever ordering from Maria’s Pancake House and it will most likely be my last. Make no mistake, the food is pretty decent, especially for something I ordered off of Uber Eats. While I can’t really give a atmosphere score hence why I rated it 3 stars, the service is definitely something I can talk about. Anytime that I see there is a note section attached to food, I always tend to call the store to ask if what I put into the notes can be done. What I asked if it was possible to substitute my eggs for extra meat or even Hashbrowns. I wouldn’t have been mad if they truly had a policy that doesn’t allow someone to do as such, but the rude customer service rep over the phone gave me the answer in a tone I didn’t appreciate before hanging up on me while I was trying to ask a question. Now I didn’t overreact or start to speak loudly over the phone, so I thought it might be good to ask my question and report the behavior to a manager. I call back, I’m still plugged back to the same person I spoke to, and when I asked if I can speak to a manager, they reply, “There is no manager here”, before also then trying to say they already gave me an answer to my previous question. I responded that I understand, but I still wished to speak to the manager which they denied me. So I asked for you have an email for the manager. He said no, I then asked do you not have a manager hired? He responded no, and then I proceeded to ask if he knows when the manager will be in, he responds no. So what I got from the conversation was that he wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying and was just always planning to say no. I’ve worked in customer service for 3-4 years and I would never even think about treating any customer in the way I was treated let alone any stranger. I hope the owner or a manager speaks with me or gives me an email to speak with them so that I can ask why exactly I had this experience.

Good food, good, fast service. My kids love the tenders & waffles! Full menu all day, kids menu, breakfast menu & lighter options on menu a plus. I was referred here by a local while visiting & I have absolutely no complaints. The full parking lot is always an indicator of good food

I ordered a French toast breakfast and there was hair in the eggs. The owner apologized and told me to bring it back for a replacement but did not offer a refund. I was not interested in getting more food. Check your food throughly if you choose to dine here. Poor customer service.

I ordered a country fried steak, hash Browns and 2 eggs with a side order of half Order of biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were small pancakes not biscuits. Most of the food needed seasoning. First time trying it. Unsure if I’ll be back to try a different item yet. The people were very nice though.
