I come to visit my hometown occasionally and this is the second time I have had a horrible experience here. The last two times we got the same waitress and today was the last day we will be coming here. We got there and ordered drinks there were only maybe 3 other tables there. We tried to order after reviewing the menu and saw our waitress just talking to coworkers by the drink machine directly looking at us and still choosing to ignore our table. We finally order and wait 30+ minutes until we finally decide to leave after not receiving our food.
Customers that got there AFTER us got their food first. From the inattentive service to the incredibly delayed food delivery we decided this establishment was not worth it. Mind you it was DEAD in there and there was no reason for us to be waiting that long for food for 3 people. The manager tried following us out and decided to blame the delay on a cook “walking out” on her. We explained to her this is not the first time we have experienced this horrible customer service especially with the waitress.

Place it with 30 minutes with notice….
1sr They lose your order and blame it on the girl that left. They ask are you sure you called.here… redial and their phone rings, ha.
Ok, we can work this out… I also want 1/2 pound of turkey, ham, and colby…
2nd They bring it on plates when obviously it’s to go because you ordered cold cut and cheese…
$200 cause you are in a hotel, and they mess that up….
Damn man, they suck!
Recommend going to a non Texan or 5D… don’t ruin your travels.

*Yorktown*Had a nice meal here with a friend and my stepmom for her birthday. I had the steak Oscar it was great! Everybody was happy with their meal. Only problem was the cheesecake was frozen solid we couldn’t eat it there we had to take it home and let it thaw. Service was pretty good and look forward coming back

We have a family place near here and don’t get to this town very often. Didn’t take many pictures as we were enjoying the company of family.
Would recommend the fried pickles, jalapeño cheese bite things, and the creme brulee cheesecake. I split the fishbowl drink with one person, and it was okay… it was lacking something but I don’t know what.
I wasn’t that hungry but knew I needed to eat, so I got the house salad with grilled chicken and no egg. It was good, but I wish there had been more veggies for the salad.
Our server was great and on fire! (I don’t think I ever heard her name.)

We were sat when we came in quickly but were there 20 minutes and finally the waitress came running by saying “I will be with you in just a second” and kept on going to the back. After 3-4 minutes she came back by our table, didnt say a word and went somewhere else out of site. Waiting a minute and we decided to leave. I looked around and there were maybe 5 tables, she was not waiting on all of them so I haven’t a clue why she was so slow on waiting on us. We didn’t even get something to drink. We were very disappointed.

This is an upscale restaurant in Carrizo Spring and affordable specially for lunch . The pork chops were amazing,the Mac so creamy ,the g. beans fresh and the corn b so fluffy. Service and atmosphere was pleasant. I’ll come back for sure
