Walked into the restaurant and the two female waitresses acted like they didn’t want to wait in us. One finally seated us. She took our drink order and asked if we wanted chips and salsa. We waited 15 minutes and nothing. People came in after us, got their chips, salsa, and drinks. They put in their food order and we still had nothing. No sign of our waitress. Asked another waitress where she was at and she said ” I don’t know, I will go find her.” After about 5 more minutes, we just got up and left.

Walked in late afternoon and only ones in the restaurant. New waitress so I understand it might be a little slow. Drink order wrong, no problem swap out sweet tea for unsweetened. Food comes out after quite a wait. Doesn’t remember what we ordered or know what is even on the plates she has in her hand. The one of three plates that was right given to wrong person and began eating it discovered it’s not what they ordered. 2 plates sent back and waited another 10 minutes or more to be remade. Brings back what had to be the worst Mexican food I’ve ever tasted. Their idea of a green chili pork burrito was a few pieces of pork rolled up like an enchilada in a wet tortilla. Chimichanga was about a quarter of a tortilla. Beans were pureed and rice was wet. Figured cook wasn’t happy about remaking the order. Then go to pay and they have no idea how to ring up what we got. Everything we ordered was on the menu not some picky custom order. It blows my mind how bad the restaurants are in Kilgore. Save your money and frustration, drive to Longview or Henderson. Way better choices and edible food. I have never walked out w/o paying but was getting close at this place. Definitely will never go back and sure they could not care less but maybe this review might be a wake up call that there are choices and if you continue to have piss poor service and food I wouldn’t feed a dog you might be hanging that closed sign for good.

Thought about giving no stars for service but man working there did see our glasses were empty and refilled them for us & The waitress did get our orders right. We were given 1 cheap napkin per person. No one brought the extra napkins even though we had several children and a very elderly person eating with us. When a drink was spilled, an adult in our party had to go find napkins because none of the staff could be seen anywhere. Kilgore is a halfway point for our family to meet up and enjoy a meal together. Our children are well behaved but accidents do happen. The food was great but the lack of good service killed it for us.

Had a help wanted sign on the door, went in to apply….owner sitting in a booth had me put my name and number on a guest check and leave it on the counter couldn’t even take 5 minutes to talk with me. Few days later underage girl gets hired of which being paid under the table… Thank you for showing me how disrespectful you are and how inconsiderate you are. Wouldn’t recommend you to anyone.

Ok so we was at Maria’s restaurant and my mother had an accident on the way to the bathroom(accidents that can happen to anyone) so mom was trying to clean herself and their bathroom up while I went to get her some clothes when the Owner said “no you can’t go get her clothes. You get her outta my place now!!” I can’t believe how they embarrassed my 70 year old mother,and we will not ever be back!!!!!!! Needless to say I called my daughter to bring her clothes and she sat in THEIR bathroom till she got her clothes
