Taco Tuesday can’t be beat here! And the House Margarita that is hand poured in front of you is fabulous, also there’s numerous tequila selections are many if you’re feeling it? The beef enchiladas rock! What I experienced it’s a place with a Fun Atmosphere and stellar Bar Service that is so welcoming. A PLUS at this restaurant is their open air seating that adds to this venues vibe. It’s worth a visit when/if you are visiting Omaha!

We had a fantastic experience at Maria’s! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were great. Our server was incredibly nice and attentive, making the meal even better.
Just a couple of heads-up: it’s definitely on the pricier side, and the parking is quite limited, so you might have to hunt for a spot like we did. That said, the quality makes it totally worth it. Highly recommend!
The only big glaring downside is I forgot my leftovers!!

I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying take-out from here at least 4 different times and boy is it delicious! Never disappointed.
The chips and queso are amazing, perfect chips every time best from any Mexican place I’ve eaten at!
I like the famous tacos chicken and beef. So GOOD!! Filling and scrumptious. Always a favorite place to get food whenever I am in town visiting my sister.
Parking lot is busy but I see why its a popular place to get food!

I haven’t been here in years. The greeters were nice and let us know it was a 10-15 wait. (10 minutes)
We were greeted by our server when we sat, she took our order, food came out and I ordered a “puffy” taco, hard shell beef taco and cheese enchilada.
The “puffy” is puffy if you like a thicker consistency to your tortilla. The cheese enchilada was delicious.
Parking isn’t the best.

BEST Mexican food in Nebraska. First time in Maria’s and now any place else would feel wrong. Tried Maria’s Special that had a bit of everything. Puffed shell taco, beef burrito, beef enchilada, and a tostada. All vastly exceeding expectations. What really set the tone was their green chile. Grew up with green chile as a staple and many are enjoyable. This however, brought back good memories.
Also, must mention how great the staff was on a busy Friday night.

Maria’s is one of Omaha’s favorite places to get tacos and a must go to for taco Tuesday. Their taco Tuesday special is 2 tacos for 5.99 which may not sound like much, but the puffy tacos here are very filling. If you like margaritas, their house margarita is amazing and is better than a lot of premium margaritas I’ve had at other restaurants. Our taco waitress recommended the skinny marg for next time since it has real lime juice in it and also tastes great. I really enjoyed the pico and will be ordering that again on my next visit.

I almost forgot about how good this place is! Gravy on burritos, it sounds crazy but they are AMAZING. And you have to try the fried flour shell tacos, they are huge but filled with just enough to still make it easy to eat and not falling apart. Their rice is my absolute favorite, plain but perfectly cooked and great mixed with the burrito! Great atmosphere, they always seem pretty busy. Our server was very friendly and prompt. I don’t think they are open on Sunday or Monday though which is kind of a bummer. Forewarning, they have a tiny parking lot, but it’s worth the wait!

Got some takeout on a Friday night and the place was PACKED! Still got my food super quick and the service was friendly.
Tacos are more of the fried puffy shell style. Definitely not a street Taco style but tasty! The burrito was… interesting. Never seen a burrito smothered in straight up gravy before. Queso wasn’t as good as some in the area, but it’s still queso.
Not a bad choice for quick decent food!

Mad Buy
The jalapeno margarita had a great flavor – spicy and strong. The barbacoa and carnitas puffy tacos had great flavor. Everyone else’s meals looked wonderful (burritos, enchiladas, tostadas). The parking is not great but don’t let that deter you from a delicious meal.
