I had the tacos and side of rice and beans and it was great though I would have liked the rice to be more “authentic”. My friend ordered the fajitas, a salad and extra beans though the beans never came as they did not have any that day.
The service was great. She brought me 2 types of salsa picantes and the ” white” salsa was the most spicy “white” sauce that I ever had tried. Amazingly spicy but tasty sauce I would recommend to any body with high spice threshold.

YUM YUM YUM !!! Maria’s Cantina has great Mexican food and wonderful service. I’ve ate here multiple times and have enjoyed every meal and visit. LOOK AT THE SPECIAL BOARD. There is always good eats posted daily. I will always recommend this place on the Island – coming from a California native.

The customer service at this establishment leaves much to be desired, particularly when it comes to takeout orders. Although they offer an online ordering system with an estimated pickup time, orders are often not ready when you arrive. When approaching the pickup window, there is usually a long wait before anyone assists you. After providing your name, staff rarely offer updates or follow through promptly. The overall attitude of the staff is unprofessional, and management does not appear to improve the experience.

House made hot sauce was a delight and bottled to go! Met regulars there who swore by their shrimp tacos and queso! Absolute treat and worth venturing away from the water view. Would recommend and plan to return!

Great margaritas and great food! First time here to the island and amazing Mexican food. Steak was cooked to medium with pink inside as part of the fajitas and carnitas burrito was delicious. Pink margarita was fruity and delicious. Will be back next time to the island!

Solid authentic Mexican food, says this non-expert. They make a hot sauce in-house which, in small quantity, made their very good salsa and queso great! Chimichanga was great – loved the crispy shell. Sodas are served in cans. Our server, Rachel, was friendly and personable!

Probably my favorite place to eat in Christiansted. Taco Tuesday deals are great. Even without the Tuesday specials, it is surprisingly affordable even by stateside standards.
Service was fast and food came out incredibly fast. And food was outstanding; I had tacos and a Mexican pizza. I lived on the Mexican border for 4 years and this place was as good as any authentic border restaurant I ate at.
Nice little bar, and TVs in restaurant. Highly recommended!

The food was delicious (just as good the next morning) and the drinks were made to perfection! The dip for chips came in edible chip bowls (would highly recommend). Food portion and price were evenly matched. There was also a good lunch special. The staff was polite, informative, and available to assist all needs. A tad noisy closer to the bar. Definitely going back next time in country
