Driving back to Nashville and so excited to swing by and grab a burrito. Got the Carnitas. Driving away and it was literally all fat. It was essentially straight up pork belly and almost no meat.
Flavor was good service was great. Would totally go back and eat there so I could make sure I didn’t get the same but so disappointed driving home.

I love quesabirria so I’ve been excited to try this place. Finally made it over to try and was definitely not disappointed. I’ve only found a couple places that have good quesabirria in town, but this place is probably #1 on my list now. I’ll be adding to our regular list!

This is a sweet little cafe run by Sergio and Maria, a husband and wife team who understand food and hospitality. I ordered the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Birria Balls. A friendly couple, regulars, insisted I taste the tres leche cake, a Thursday and Friday special that’s to die for, and a birria taco. Everything was excellent. I will make a point to stop here on my next trip through town.

Dinner at Maria’s Authentic Street Tacos & More!! Should have taken a pic but couldn’t wait to dig in… birria burrito was DELICIOUS!! Hubby had the torta cubano & it was great as well!! We have eaten here several times & it’s just as delicious each visit!! Always fresh & love the staff!!

Ok guys & gals, you want the experience of old Mexico food this is the place to go!!!!! Everything was fresh, other place gives you chips and salsa to eat before your meal,you get full off that and then you have to take what you order hone ,at Maria’s you don’t need to eat chips &salsa, the food is enough and the services is excellent, The tamales are real not frozen mexican homemade, the torta sandwich was off the cart and the hibiscus tea is homemade and actually heart healthy, street tacos was off the chain, #1 authentic Mexican restaurant, all others better watch out,

We stopped here while traveling across country. We really wanted something fresh and different from highway food. This exceeded our expectations. The food was freshly prepared and full of flavor. We got the street tacos. We were pleasantly surprised to find yummy street tacos in Kentucky! The owners were very inviting and kind. This one is worth a small detour or just a quick trip over if you’re in town!

First visit to Maria’s Tacos and it did not disappoint! I tried the quesabirria tacos and they were absolutely amazing perfectly crispy, cheesy, and full of flavor. Great service and atmosphere too. Definitely coming back!
