Such a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and welcoming, and it truly felt like a home-cooked meal. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. I ordered the chicken shawarma, which was delicious and well-seasoned. One of my daughters had the chicken kabob and loved it, and my other daughter had the chicken tenders, which were great as well perfect for kids. Everything came out hot and tasted amazing. To top it off, we were offered coffee at the end, which was such a nice touch. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our visit. If you’re looking for great food, generous portions, and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, I highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back

This restaurant is such a gem in the fairly saturated Mediterranean scene in the Utica area. It’s run by a wonderful Syrian family and they provided us the best service we’ve ever received. They are warm, welcoming, eager to please, and clearly love what they do for a living. As for the food, it was incredible. I wanted to try everything so I ordered the chef’s platter. The lamb kabob that came with it was the single best lamb I’ve ever eaten. Go here, you will not regret it.

The food is fine if it’s your thing, but not great to me, and the floor pattern makes you think you’re eating in a bathroom. I thought my salad was fine, and my chicken was a little dry, though tasty, but all in all it was alright.

Living nearby I’ve tried them a few times. Twice sat at the bar and wasn’t seen or spoken too for 10 minutes. The waiter seemed oblivious to his surroundings and watching him total up a bill was astounding how long it took. I would give anything for the old Bevs diner who previously owned the diner. The waitresses were on the ball,fast,friendly and efficient not to mention attractive. Things always go backwards in this odd town.

We were in the area for a basketball tournament at Accelerate Sports. In lieu of a greasy spoon, we found Mariam using Google for a search offering greek selections. Food was well portioned and flavorful.

Went here couple weeks ago for breakfast without realizing it was a new restaurant, I don’t even think they were open yet but they offered to cook breakfast for us! We politely declined but offered to come back to try their lunch menu.
Stopped in to place a Togo order today and while waiting for my order was offered drink and hummus on the house. Very nice family clean restaurant.
I ordered the beef and lamb sandwich with fries. Was excellent. Sandwich was large pic only shows half. Will be back with the family Maybe try a fish fry.
Check em out you won’t be dissapointed! Mediterranean themed menu.

We were visiting from Manhattan, back visiting family and I asked my cousin where I should go for Middle Eastern food and a good fish fry. Didn’t expect one restaurant could have both! Hands down the best Utica fish fry I’ve ever had and the best grape leaves, like Sito used to make. It’s a family business run by very very nice people, and the prices are excellent. I will cannot say enough good things about Mariam’s!
