Social Profile:

Mariah’s was established in 2003 by a local Springfield family – and is still run by that same family. Our one-of-a-kind building boasts 45 ft. ceilings in one of the only log cabin restaurants in Illinois. Mariah’s Steakhouse specializes in hand-cut, hand-selected certified Black Angus steaks. Mariah’s didn’t always specialize in steaks. We were originally known for our homemade pasta dishes. About 5 years ago we revaluated our menu and made some big changes. Those changes helped us become recognized as one of the highest-rated dining establishments in central Illinois. Our hand-cut steaks are graded prime and upper 2/3 choice from select Black Angus ranches in Nebraska. We have maintained exceptional service throughout the years & our

Chops, steaks & homey Italian dishes served in a spacious log-cabin-style eatery with a gaming room.

We went on 12/20. Chase was our server. He is definitely an important asset to our enjoyable evening.
He was prompt, professional and always checked on us. My soda never ran out.
Food was brought out as it should. The appetizer, soup and entrees did not over lap each other.
The food was excellent and large portions.
The ribs very meaty and fell off right off the bone.
In the pics were ribs, chicken Parmesan, fettuccine were the entrees.
We had soup.
Cheese sticks and fried green beans.
Definitely come back again.
Will request Chase if we can.
Didn’t want to use flash in the restaurant.

Went here for a Valentines day date the day after valentines day. I had made a reservation a week ahead and had got into the bulding and sat down at a table in under a minute. Chase was our server and was very nice and attentive. I got the filet medallions with fettuccine Alfredo and she got the spaghetti and meatballs. Food was very good and well seasoned for the price not overpowering and not barely anything just in the middle.Just over $100 after taxes for the 2 of us. Only negative is maybe Chase could be a little more talkative while at the table like asking if there was a “special occasion” or something like texas roadhouse and he seemed to be kinda rushed the entire time. Decor was really nice though and the lighting was not to dark and not to bright, they also opened the blinds a little bit for more light as it was getting dark.

The food was very good except for the Salmon was over cooked. Our Mussels and Lamb Chops were excellent. Service was very lacking. Food took over an hour to get with an empty diner. Only 2 other people were there. We got helped from the other waiter because our waiter never came to check on us. I had to ask for a drink refill when my glass was empty. Waiter must of had something going on due to his grumpiness.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary. We shared a crab-stuffed shrimp appetizer, I had the beef medallions with lobster ravioli and my wife had the seafood lover’s combo. Pastas are handmade and were excellent. The house was well over half full, and yet they managed to get us in 15-20 minutes sooner than our reservation and service was timely. We closed with a favorite – their creme brulle, which is flamed with brandy table-side. The only reduction from 5 stars is for atmosphere – the dining room is dark enough that most tables are using cell phone lights to read menus and receipts. . . .if I owned a place that had hand-made pastas this good, I’d give the patrons enough light to properly appreciate the food. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was delicious but the service was even better. My steak was prepared perfectly and seasoned just right. The Spinach Artichoke dip might be the best I’ve ever had, but the dipping bread was a little crispy for my taste. Service was second to none. Karl was attentive, polite and everything he suggested was right on the money.

The moment you walk through the door, prepare to be greeted by the most hospitable gentleman. Our dining experience was exceptional, sampling a wide array of dishes from salads to crab mushrooms, dips, Alfredo, spaghetti, and bread pudding. The establishment is impeccably clean, and the service is truly outstanding.
Perfect score of 10 out of 10. We will definitely return whenever we are in Springfield. Thank you!

I haven’t been to Mariah’s for probably 6 years as the food was never that great but decided to give it another shot and unfortunately it’s still the same overpriced and flavorless food.
I had the beef medallions cooked medium over the cheese ravioli. The medallions tasted like an overcooked steak and had no flavor. The ravioli was decent but nothing special. For the price I expected a decent steak but that was not the case.
The other negative was how dark the dining room was at night, as most patrons could not read their menus.
For drinks I opted for a draft Dos Equis beer which tasted flat and gross. It was either an expired keg or the line hasn’t been cleaned in some time. The server was nice enough to take and replace with a bottle of beer.
Overall I would not recommend this restaurant as it’s pretty pricey and for those price points I expect a pretty good meal.

We had a rehearsal dinner for approximately 40 guests and everything was fabulous. The service, food and atmosphere were all a great experience. I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be going back more often! The team at Mariah’s have been great to work with every step of the way!

My boyfriend and I have never been to a place as fancy as this. We truly loved our experience. The wait time was excellent, the drinks were sinful, and the food was beyond amazing. Fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We actually melted in our chairs. We even agreed that this restaurant will become our anniversary spot! It’s cozy, dim, gives into that romantic vibe, and quiet enough that we could hear each other talk, and enjoy the classical music that was being played. We ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and had the house salad that came with it. Fresh, so fresh, my tongue was in heaven. Our waiter was such a nice gentleman, didn’t hover too much, and was prompt with taking empty dishes, and refilling our waters. He was able to answer questions, and even gave us a little history lesson about the chef working for them. Compliments to the chef for making our food so delicious, it feels like we could die happy!
