Took my wife out here today for brunch and it was solid. The service was pretty good, everyone was so nice! We came in and got a good seat and got started with the chips and salsa. They were ok. Chips were kinda too hard to my liking but the salsa tasted better than the chips. I got the El Presidente which is a usual drink for me so I wasn’t expecting anything crazy, so the drink did the job. I have zero complaints on my drink, it was exactly what I ordered and it tasted pretty great. I also ordered the Campensino Omelette and it came with home fries. I enjoyed it. The chorizo inside the omelette was cooked well and it was flavorful. The potatoes were good too, I just wish there was more. Seems like there were more onions and veggies which could have actually been potatoes instead. Also the food was kinda cold which was weird too but nonetheless, me and the wife ate and basically finished our food.
Summary
The food is good, ours came out cold but maybe today was just a bad day. I feel like some of the dishes are overpriced compared to the portion size and taste of the food. For example, the French toast nor pancakes don’t have a combo compared to other Mexican Brunch establishments. The drinks are great! Will I come back? No for Brunch, but yes to try their Lunch.

DO NOT EAT HERE! Let me start out by saying we had high hopes for this place. We ordered Tamales and they came out and told us they were out but a minute later said they “found” some. They were a soggy mess and one bite is all we could take of it. So where did they “find” the tamales at after they were gone?! Then my blended strawberry margarita had ZERO flavor and you could even tell by the way it looked (very pail pink) and the waitress even agreed. She offered to have another one made but I declined. Our meal was mediocre at that. There was a very loud, drunk patron in the establishment and it appeared that they may be good friends with the manager who was working. The gentleman could hardly stand up straight and this is a family establishment. The waitress then came over and offered us one of the desserts as a token of appreciation. It was a nice gesture but it then took 5-10 minutes for them to bring out the dessert, even though she brought one to our table to show us. The dessert was very watery to say the least but did have good flavor. Needless to say we will not be going to that restaurant again and would advise others to stay away. Complete waste of our time and money. On a side note, our waitress was very nice and she was doing the best she could.

Great location and service here. My food rating is low because I know how good Mexican food is suppose to taste like and maybe it was what I ordered. I ordered a taco platter. It was okay where the tortillas were NOT fresh and the different salsas were good.

Fantastic Mexican cuisine with exceptional service. The restaurant offers delicious chips and salsa. The chicken fajitas for two are perfect for couples with a healthy portion of tender chicken breast and veggies as well as rice and refried beans.
The restaurant is located in beautiful Old Towne along the train tracks. The restaurant is decorated wall-to-wall and has clean bathrooms.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating and a full service bar.

We were in town and decided to stay for lunch, and picked Mariachis because it said it had queso. And it did, and it was delicious! As was all the other food. Natalia was super awesome and helpful in getting our order, and everything came out hot and delicious. They even made hot chocolate for the kids, which I’m not sure is on the menu but went over great!

I’ve been to countless bars over the years, but I’ve never met a bartender as outstanding as Lily]. From the moment I walked in, their energy lit up the room. Not only are they incredibly skilled at crafting the perfect cocktail (seriously, the best Old Fashioned I’ve ever had), but their attention to detail, quick memory for orders, and genuine care for every guest set them apart. Whether the bar is packed or slow, they treat everyone with the same warm, welcoming attitude. It’s rare to find someone who makes you feel like more than just a customer. Lily isn’t just a bartender — they’re the heartbeat of the place. I always look forward to my next visit.

I saw some recent negative reviews here and I have to post a good one. This was a good relaxed place with excellent food and drinks. I sat outside but the bar inside was pretty awesome. Watched trains and people roll by. Food was excellent ( I had the burrito) and the waiter brought me his choice for margaritas. He made excellent choices.
Only downside was the guy forgot my silverware. Otherwise this is a good casual Mexican place right in the middle of Bull Run.

Best Mexican restaurant around! This is a dish from their brunch menu (enchiladas jarochas), and it was absolutely perfect. Flavor was incredible, and the michelada with corona was crafted perfectly with the right amount of each ingredient that makes you want another and another! The atmosphere was fun, and we sat at the bar and received wonderful service. I’ll continue to return again and again!
Update 11/04/24: went before First Friday started last Friday around 5pm. It wasn’t very busy inside, sat at the bar. Took about 15 minutes before a bartender asked me what I’d like to drink… I asked for a food menu, she never came back to order our food. Had planned on spending some time and money here as it’s been one of my fave restaurants when visiting Manassas, not anymore. The service was absolutely horrendous this last visit with no excuse as to why. I was looking forward to the food and drinks and ended up leaving after a drink due to lack of service. Took my business to Zandras down the street – highly recommend! Also, a poor tip was left to reflect the poor service during this visit at Mariachis. Please keep an eye on your bank account after visiting here as we discovered an additional tip was taken out that we did NOT authorize or approve.

Pretty nice place. Conveniently located in old town Manassas. Roaming mariachi band is rather loud. Could use extra servers to check back with you after order is delivered. Food was good. Serving size generous.
