Unfortunately it’s been sold. 30 years in business. I went to say Good Bye to the owner. There food was excellent and everyone who worked there were like visiting your neighbor. I am going to miss them.

Legit coming through during the pandemic. It’s kinda settled down for now, but even during the height of the craziness, Margherita Pizzeria was able to meet all of their takeout demands.
They worked hand in hand with all those delivery companies, and even though those companies were taking a cut of their profits, Margherita still delivered the goods without fail.
Their packaging was superb and the food was always delicious. I commend them for their efforts.
Was the chicken a little dry at times? Sure. But that happens to the best of ’em.
What matters most, I’d say, is their passion for their product. They keep high standards and it’s all about delivering quality food to the customer.
Props to them for not only persevering, but THRIVING, through the pandemic. And now that everything is starting to open up ever more, I have no doubt Margherita Pizzeria will land right back on their feet.

The food was great. The pizza was baked perfectly, the toppings where nicly spread. The taste was amazing. Unfortunately our waitress was to busy with her phone and flirting with another customer, which made you feel we were a burden to her. The seats are worn, and they should be replaced, many torn seats…otherwise it is a very nice place to eat and to hang out.

Five star pizza? Absolutely not. However, we are not in Brooklyn. We are transplants from the Philadelphia area so we have been spoiled with the best Italian food and pizza. We have been in the area for about eight years. There is no five star pizza in this area. Yes we have tried them all. Most are fair to poor. However there are a few very good pizza shops that will do. Overall this pizza is very good. Shop is clean and very nice. Service was friendly. Can’t ask for more when in the Reading area.

I love the Chicken Tuscan pasta but sometimes they do it different and I don’t like. I recently ordered the special for 3 large cheesesteaks and boi they could feed 6 people. They weren’t so big before which its not a bad. Pizza is good as well. I recommend Margherita . Also I get deals on the Local Flavor App like $20 worth of food for $10. Can’t beat that check it out.

Decided to try out this place, food was very good especially the gizmo and fries. Service was quick but not especially friendly and the place was empty. Later in the day discovered the establishment is closing in a few days. Unfortunately won’t be able to give them another chance.

Terrific family owned and operated Italian restaurant. Low key atmosphere, great food and large menu of authentic Italian favorites. The ‘Tour of Italy’ is my favorite. They support the community by sponsoring local kids sport teams. Service is always great and attentive. A must ‘go to’ restaurant for dining in or carryout.

We ordered mozzarella fries. The fries were cold. Stale and fries close to burnt. I also ordered chicken ceaser wrap, it was not good at all. The fries were also close to burnt and stale. To be charged $27 for mozzarella fries and chicken ceaser should be a crime. In top of that, the food was not good at all.
