We are an Organic, Farm-to-Table Atmosphere restaurant. We have a private e-mail list for private dining-in on Saturdays only. My wife and I had dinner here and it was truly amazing! I had the beef tenderloin and my wife had the chicken with apples and bourbon sauce. The chef made adjustments for diet challenges and we couldn’t tell because the flavors were so amazing. Both meals were done to perfection. Great place to have a wonderful intimate meal together. Loved the ambiance as well as it felt like a house based restaurant that we had dined at in Australia.

The meal was so delicious, and the waitress was kind and friendly, but a few details were off that skewed my overall experience. The reservation and ordering process is a little cumbersome, as you have to chose what you want to eat ahead of time…and then there were several mix-ups with our order. We got extra’s of things we didn’t order, and then didn’t get things we did order! And since it’s just one person doing the cooking, it’s not like they can just refire things or come up with extra desserts. What you get is what you get! There were also lots of little fruit flies flying around, which I know is just the bane of every restaurants existence in the summer, but still – having to constantly swat flies away during what is supposed to be an upscale dining experience isn’t enjoyable. The Anchor Coffee shop is a really cute and cozy space, but I think maybe having some quiet background music going would help the overall vibe, since there were just a few other couples eating on the night I was there and it felt library-quiet – the kind of quiet where you don’t really want to speak since you’re hyper-aware everyone in the room can hear you. Overall, if you’re willing to be be mindful that this is a small operation, and can stay flexible with menu changes, etc. you’ll probably have a delicious meal. It’s also nice that you can BYO wine, beer, etc.

Every time we have been here has been nothing short of incredible! One of the perks is that you bring your own drinks! That can seem surprising, but it is actually fabulous! We brought a great bottle of wine tonight and had the scallops and sea bass. Both were to die for! The dining room is cozy and intimate, the staff is very knowledgeable and personable. They are only open Friday Saturday nights, it is recommended that you make a reservation.

Our group of 5 had the most amazing meal and experience at Margaux’s last night. Every morsel of food was done to perfection!!! The fresh ingredients, presentation, timing, atmosphere, server, and owner/ chef could not have been more delightful and delicious. I truly can not wait to go back!

Clearly Margaux loves to cook! We were there last night and had the sea bass and the scallops. Everything was wonderful and relaxing. We were not rushed, brought our favorite wine and enjoyed all of the flavors. Keep this restaurant on your radar on Friday & Saturday evenings.

Cozy and relaxing atmosphere, great food, and attentive service. Great for a date night. I recommend reservations. Bring your own wine – they don’t have a liquor license, but there is a nice wine shop just down the block. We’ll be back!
