In my mind we were going in some AC to have some tacos. I was disappointed to realize I had to sit in my car or at picnic benches, along a busy road, in the sweltering heat . We opted for our car. The food was brought out to us promptly. People kept popping in and out with their orders. It was very busy. We had the nachos and the crunch wrap. I like how sturdy the chips were and there were plenty of toppings. The flavor of the chicken in the crunch wrap was excellent.

Tonight I made my first trip to Bull River Taco in White Oak. On Oct 18th my nephew had made his last trip to his favorite taco joint. later that evening he was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident. Today would have been his 43rd birthday. So in his honor I wanted to go and have something from his favorite place. The owners were wonderful, and after hearing my story didn’t charge us for anything. The service, food, and experience was amazing. Additionally, my nephew was always doing random acts of kindness, it was in his DNA. So since we weren’t charged for our meal I decided to pay it forward and picked up the tab for the next customer through the door. I can’t thank them enough for making the trip special. Can’t wait to go back again!

My wife and I love coming here! The food is absolutely fantastic, no matter what you get. The variety of tacos is good with offerings no matter what type of meat you want: pork, beef, chicken, brisket, etc.
However, I think the non-taco options are also well worth it! I favor their crunchwrap and my wife also really enjoys their taco salads. The weekly special are always fun to try, and often very tasty and interesting! Also appreciate their selection of Mexican sodas that can go with whatever meal you are ordering. Maybe a little pricey for some people, but I think the cost is worth the high quality food and taste

I’m visiting from Texas, and all I’ve been craving is a little slice of home. Tacos always remind me of Texas, and I’m thrilled to say I found the perfect spot here at Bull River Taco!
We ordered the “Cheap Date” combo, which came with 2 tacos, nachos, and 2 drinks. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us, and trust me, we were starving—we hadn’t eaten all day! The flavors exceeded our expectations. The spices on the meat were spot-on: my husband got the pork tacos while I had the chicken.
What really brought everything together was the queso, beans, cilantro, fresh lime, and house-made sauces. Each bite was a perfect medley of flavors, and everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared.
This place absolutely hit the spot, and I would recommend it all day long. If you’re looking for authentic tacos , Bull River Taco is the place to go. We will definitely be back!

Service was good. So……I can take not so good food to a point, but this one I could not. One of the worst tacos i have tried in life. The chicken aftertaste was so bad it gave me nausea afterwards. I don’t know what you guys put in there, but you need to stop whatever that is, it smells and tastes like it is expired for some reason , in my opinion. About the white sauce, not good at all, with the mesh of the aftertaste chicken taste, I wanted to throw up afterwards. Thanks for the service but you guys need to do something about that aftertaste. What I would suggest is to stay close to how Latino people do it, because this way it’s unbearable, and I mean this with all due respect to you. Thanks again

5/5 stars , the staff is very friendly & professional. Service is relaxed & quick . The food is excellent . They have creative weekly specials. Check their fb page or call in and ask what the special is. They will bring your takeout order out to your car & they have outdoor seating for a nice day. The price is very reasonable and the portions are filling. If you are near or in white oak , get your Mexican food here. Thanks for the great food and service bull river . I’ll be back soon.

Stopped by for lunch. The brisket taco was tender and juicy. Also had the loaded chicken nachos, which were awesome! Can’t beat the pricing. Got more than I could finish for less money than the chain stores! Can’t wait to go back!!

A few weeks ago, I stopped at Bull River Taco because they were advertising a special: General Tso’s Chicken Crunchwrap. It caught my eye and curiosity. In my initial reaction, this combo had no right to be good. Who would be so bold? So I bought one.
Let me tell you: you know that moment when a movie ends and all you can do is sit back and process it because it was that good? The desire to not let that sense of wonder end? I felt the exact same after finishing this Crunchwrap. It should not have been good. But oh my god it was! Stunningly good!
My brain was in a constant state of confusion. I was eating a Crunchwrap. Tex mex. But I was tasting Asian cuisine! But the texture was still true to Tex Mex! The Ingredients were so similar yet so distinctly different. It all blended so very well! I was reeling at the end. How could it taste so magnificently good?!
And it was big. And the price was very reasonable ($8 for the Crunchwrap).
I also bought loaded nachos and those did not disappoint either.

Thanks for being so kind to my niece and I yesterday! This place has amazing food and drinks. The service was excellent and friendly. They brought her meal out to our car in less than 10 minutes! She got the chicken crunch wrap with avocado ranch on the side because she wasn’t sure she would like it. But she absolutely loved it! Thanks again ; )
