In the area decided to stop at this location for lunch. The staff was very kind. The food was good but not great but I’ve eaten at lots of Mexican restaurants and become sort of a Mexican food critic. What makes this place nice is the apparent large portions and the extremely kind staff I’ve always said that good staff can make any food taste good. This is not a location that we typically go to and now having tried it I would say this is not a location that I looked to return. I think if you’re in the area and you’re looking for Mexican food, this will check all your boxes.

Great service! We only ordered water, so I can not speak to the margaritas. What I saw coming from the bar, they looked good. The chips and salsa were amazing. The salsa was really, really good.
The food was delivered quickly. Hubby ordered fajitas, and I ordered a quesdilla. Both were very flavorful.
Prices weren’t too bad considering how much food prices have increased over the past year. Our bill came to about $40. If you pay in cash, you do get a slight discount. We didn’t experience the discrepancy issues that others have. We’re older and traveling through, so we went before the dinner rush.

My first time visiting this restaurant. They have many drink options and food options. I ordered a nacho fajita. The fajitas nachos was very good I will say that. The tortillas was fried hard made inti nachos. The drink I had was a sunset margarita which is pretty good not as strong of a liquor but it is durable. my friend had another dish that I don’t recall a name but it was a burrito she didn’t like the texture or taste of it but overall not too bad as a place. The price was decent.

Our group was weary from travel, and the servers were very kind to us, and explained everything. The portions were generous and delicious. Two of our group ordered soup and although it was a lot in a large serving bowl, each one said the soup was wonderful. The servers really went out of their way to serve us quickly and thoroughly..

Food is good. Sometimes the music is way to loud. Sometimes the service is not great. I had the server lie to my face twice about my order. He brought me the wrong order and then said it was what I ordered. I called him out and told him it wasn’t what I ordered he said it was. I then said I know what it looks like and this isn’t it. He then breathed heavy and took my food back and got me what I ordered. I also never got a drink refill and never had my chips refilled either.

Stopped in for a quick margarita and snack.
Tasty margarita & perfectly cooked poblano pepper. Thin chips with spicy salsa and queso. Friendly bartender. I would return when in the area.
The only con was the cleanliness of the bathroom which threw me off at first. Lots of broken equipment.

Margaronas Cantina is nice Mexican restaurant in Homewood. From nice service to really good food the overall experience my friends and I had was great!! We ended up trying many different entrees (shown in the photos). I got the carnitas and loved it! The selection of food to choose from is great and the food came out in ~20 mins.
