From a large flowing margarita machine to our tropical atmosphere, Margaritaville is more than a restaurant; it’s a state of mind. Margaritaville has everything you need to have a good time: island-inspired flavors, live entertainment on select nights, an indoor/outdoor 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar and patio seating overlooking Lake Erie.

Shawn was an amazing waiter. Very friendly, took the time to know our names and remembered them. Lol. The atmosphere was awesome. There was definitely a happy vibe there. The drinks were great, the food was good, the prices were decent. We will definitely go back the next time we are in town.

The restaurant itself was very cool by itself. The service was excellent. Fast and friendly. The food was good. I ordered the jambalaya and it was good. I normally like it with a little for spice. The slushie machine was broke. Still recommend

We went there at lunch time for my birthday. It was still early, and they just opened. We were pretty much the only table there. Just for fun, we sat in the boat. The sweet tea was great, as well as the complimentary peach margarita. We all got burgers, which were very tasty! Our server was very sweet, and she did a great job. Nelly, the manager, came over to say hello. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome. We finished off the meal with a piece of yummy chocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, both drizzled with chocolate. When we were done, we went to the rooftop to check out the view. The planes were practicing their flybys, as they got ready for the upcoming air show. If we had more time we would have hung out there a little longer. I would really like to see it at night when they have the lights on. We will definitely be back!

I’m extremely disappointed with our visit. While our waiter was polite, he seemed completely lost and unprepared. It took nearly 10 minutes just to get seated — and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. After sitting down, we waited another 5 minutes before our server finally showed up.
We ordered drinks and an appetizer right away, might I add that they were out of multiple menu items. it took 20 minutes to get our drinks and another 10 for the appetizer to arrive. Despite specifically asking for light liquor, the cocktails were overwhelmingly strong and poorly balanced. We asked for silverware and napkins — we never received either.
All the staff looked like they were in a rush, speed-walking around the restaurant, but for what? The place was half empty. After 40 minutes, we still hadn’t received our entrees. At that point, I asked to cancel our order. The waiter didn’t ask why or even seem surprised — like this was totally normal for them.
To make things worse, the appetizer — chicken eggrolls — tasted like fish. Just gross.
On top of the awful service and long wait, the bathrooms were disgusting. Only one toilet worked, and there was no soap available to wash my hands. Completely unacceptable
This was a truly terrible experience from start to finish. I had high hopes for this place, but I left angry, hungry, and thoroughly unimpressed. We won’t be coming back.

Stopped to see what it was like finally. I thought they were supposed to have the best margaritas! A Little over rated if you ask me. Wasn’t nothing special about there margarita to me for $13. Glass full of ice. Its not even a jumbo either. I did like they had a roof top bar but it was closed the Friday I went. It was just okay for me.

This place never fails. Delicious food, great decor. The only reason I couldn’t rate 5 stars, is because while we there, we witnessed multiple party’s have some confusion about seating & who their servers were. The staff quickly figured it out & each got helped so not sure if they were doing training or in between shifts.

I cannot rate the food here because we did not eat. It wasn’t because we weren’t hungry but because we chose to sit on the rooftop. Up here we learned there was a limited menu. We learned this from our friendly bartender, Mr. James Willis. We noticed that he was a man of many talents. Besides keeping the customers entertained with jokes and conversations he was also busy busing tables, taking food orders and picking up the food orders from another floor. I joked with him saying he should be drawing 3 different salaries with the amount of work he was doing. It was only because of this pleasant employee that my wife and I decided to stay and have a drink. The rooftop did not serve draft beer so we opted for bottles. The view on the rooftop was exceptional this night and so was the weather. I was thinking how lucky management here was having an employee that was able to keep customers. The rest of the customers seemed to enjoy his company also. His manager did make an appearance and we told her what a great job James was doing. This is definitely the kind of bartender that you want to make your drinks. It’s a pleasure to see someone actually enjoying their job while doing such a remarkable job. Keep up the good work James!

This restaurant had a great atmosphere.
Cajun Seafood Pasta was sooo good! Pasta was a good addition to the shrimp and scallops. It was just the right spice for me. However,I felt like the dish was missing something… maybe cause I expected more scallops. I only received two and they were cold. The toast that came with it was burnt.
Jimmy’s Jammin’ Jambalaya was good. The spice was what you’d expect from a Jumbalaya, but it was a bit dry.
Overall, the service was great. Our server was attentive and accommodating.I wasn’t impressed with management. I asked to buy some murch but only the manager could check us out. After asking a server for help, she went to get the manager, but said the manager kept us waiting close to 10min. We just left.

The restaurant is in an area that’s being revitalized, so getting here under the overpass was interesting. I sat at the bar, and greeted pretty quickly and offered a drink. I placed an order for the chicken sandwich and was given my check to pay, before I even got the food. So I didn’t put a credit card down, thinking it would be normal to wait to see what the food and service was like before tipping. The bartender thought otherwise and asked if I was paying with a card. I obliged, but left the tip part blank for now. The food was taking longer, no big deal, but with I knew there was only one cook because so many people called out. Took about 40 minutes for my sandwich to come out. The whole time, the bartender apologized, but always said it should come out soon, knowing it probably wasn’t. When it did come out, it took a bit to get my honey mustard and then more time to get utensils and napkins, something that should’ve been there already.
The vibe of the place was off because it was pretty empty and quiet, not the festive atmosphere you’d expect. It’s a newer restaurant, but two of the sinks in the bathroom were already missing faucets and soap dispensers.
I might’ve given another star or been more understanding if my Diet Coke was taken off the bill. But alas, I was forced to pay before any food came out…
The good news is the chicken sandwich was really good, and a big portion.
