You’d never know this place existed unless someone tells you about it, drive by it or if you google restaurant nearby. I was floored because of the service and more impressed with the food. There’s only been a couple of restaurants where I’d want to lick the plate clean and this is the spot. I’m sure everything on the menu is fantastic but we went with coconut shrimp and the Mahi Mahi cream sauce dish. This is a place where everyone makes you feel at home and comfortable. I’d would definitely go out of my way to come back. If you are driving by at night you clearly see the patio lights along the road side.

The view alone is worth the trip. Sitting up on the hill overlooking the coastline makes it one of the most memorable dining spots in the area. The drinks are fantastic, the food is outstanding, and the whole experience feels relaxed and authentic.
What really makes the place special is Hector, the owner. His hospitality sets the tone for the entire restaurant and makes you feel like a welcome guest the moment you arrive.
Great views, great drinks, great food, and genuinely warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back.

The best of the best seafood and service! The quality of the seafood is the best we have ever experienced in any of our travels. We ordered the seafood platter for two which was incredible. The sashimi trio was the best tuna we have ever had … the service is unreal and the overall experience something unique and quite special.

From the moment you step into Margaritas on the Hill you’re transported into an atmosphere that balances warmth and elegance with effortless charm. Nestled up on a hill, this hidden gem delivers a dining experience that lingers long after the final bite. This family owned restaurant is authentic and the owners are so welcoming (speaking both English and Spanish). Margaritas on the Hill isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a place to savor, to celebrate, and to return to. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply someone who appreciates a well-crafted meal, this restaurant is a must-visit. The bonus, the DJ turns it up and that’s when the party begins. You’ll never want to leave!

Cute family run restaurant with fantastic margaritas. We had the garlic shrimp – 10 large prawns with a garlic butter baked potato, rice and vegetables. It was very good.
We also had modified fish tacos – they were very accommodating about special requests! The guacamole was huge and came in the shape of a heart ❤️. There was so much we brought some home and are still eating it!
They have pretty glass hearts hanging all along the overhang and it turns out they sell them for $150 pesos, so it’s easy to pick one up to bring home.

Really cute place right off the highway, that sits above the trees and gets great breezes. Staff is super friendly. Seating is really cool especially if you are a party of 2. Cocktails and food were yummy. The shrimp quesadillas were delicious. A little pricier than I expected, but not bad.

Amazing local restaurant! Memo the waiter was so friendly and helpful! He recommended the tuna 3 ways as a starter and it was totally delicious.
We had the lobster and prawn plate, skirt steak fajitas and the fresh fish of the day. All was so fresh and well done. The margaritas were also lovely, lots of choice of flavours and made to perfection.
Highly recommend a visit here!
