Margaritas was a whole experience! We started with drinks and they did not disappoint. The frozen piña colada was smooth and creamy, the dragon fruit margarita was fruity with the perfect kick, and both the wild berry mojito and mango mojito were refreshing and well balanced.
For apps, the ceviche was fresh and flavorful, and the guacamole was perfectly seasoned and tasted homemade. The star of the night was the molcajete sizzling, packed with flavor, and great for sharing. The pollo hawaiano was juicy, sweet, and savory with a generous portion.
Overall, the food was flavorful, drinks were strong, and the vibe was fun and lively. Definitely a solid spot for dinner, drinks, or a group outing.

Pollo Hawaiano-Served in a pineapple, with grilled chicken, onions, mushrooms, pineapple, bacon and rice. Topped with cheese dip and served with Mexican rice and beans.

Molcajete- Traditional Mexican dish served in a hot lava bowl containing grilled chicken, rib-eye steak, shrimp, chorizo, grilled jalapeños, onions, bell peppers, cactus, and queso fresco. Served with rice and beans.

Excellent location in downtown Syracuse around the corner from the MOST. Food is absolutely delicious!!!! Indoor and outdoor seating (weather permitting of course). Drinks are strong, and large! Birria tacos are to dieeeee for, butthe guacamoleis even better!!! If you have theater plans, you may want to tell waitstaff before you order as food can take a while to come out from the kitchen.

– If you’re looking for a great Mexican restaurant in Syracuse, Margaritas is great.
– Ask for Klinton G. He was awesome and attentive to our order/concerns. My San Jose Burrito tasted authentic. I from California, so I know. I loved my frozen Mango Margarita with a Corona.
– The vibe was nice. They have two areas to dine in. I would recommend the authentic side, because it has some beautiful Mexican art work.
– Parking You have to park on the street or find a parking lot. We paid $15 dollars to park.

Not what I expected. I was hesitant to come here at first with the prices and also thinking it was more bar than restaurants and 1/3 of the size. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It has great reviews for many great reasons! The decor was very well done, the service was very good, the chips and salsa were good and a touch spicy which was perfect, the food was played to perfection and the portions were worth the price, and the restaurant was clean. It may be pricey, but it was worth it.

The location, ambiance, and decor of this Mexican restaurant are perfect, but parking can be a challenge. While the food is good, I’d rate it an 8 out of 10, as it doesn’t quite live up to the high standard set by other Mexican restaurants in the area. The margaritas we had actually weren’t that good either. However, I would still highly recommend this for a date night or a night out with friends.

We discovered this delightful gem completely by accident while traveling through Syracuse. The atmosphere is phenomenal with bright colors, a rustic feel, while feeling metropolitan. They had plenty of seating both inside and outside and the service was fantastic. The food was EXCELLENT and well worth the price. The menu was very diverse and lengthy. They had a beautiful bar area and wonderful drink selection.

My husband and I had such an amazing time at Margaritas! The service was absolutely outstanding, staff were so attentive, friendly, and on top of everything all night. Our server, Alexandra (Alex), was fantastic and truly made the experience. Management was also present and clearly invested in making sure guests are well taken care of, which we really appreciated.
The food and drinks were SO good- everything came out perfectly. I am pregnant- all I have been wanting lately is virgin piña coladas. Very thankful Margaritas offers this! And the fried ice cream? I’ve never had anything like it. The perfect ending to a great night.
We left happy, full, and already looking forward to coming back!

Everything was great but you can’t force the customer to give 20% tip. It’s your job to pay the employees better from your profit. $51.00 bill should not have automatically charged gratuity of 20%.

Not coming back ever. You lost a good and loyal customer

They sat us quickly, service was slow but they were packed so it’s understandable. But the quality of the food more than made up for it. Excellent place for a meal, solo or in a big group.

The ceviche was authentic and delicious, portions of everything were generous, great service, even with a table for seven. And, of course the margaritas and mojitos were delicious.
