Ok, so this place is definitely a hidden gem. Don’t trust the bad reviews. It’s in a weird location, attached to a small hotel… where people apparently don’t appreciate authentic Mexican food. The bad reviews are Mexican people who think their mamas is better or white folks who don’t know a darn thing lol.
They have everything you could possibly want, lengua, asada, pollo, puerco, camarones, fresh tortillas (brought to your table at request), flautas, tamales, mole, pozoles, all kinda of sopas, an expansive salsa bar, a fruit bar, flan, cheesecakes, pumpkin bars/cakes, and so so so much more. It’s a tad expensive on weekends (like $20ish/person for adults), but for all the options and the quality of the food, that’s very reasonable. I think it’s less during the week.
I hope more people start going to this restaurant, bc I’d hate to lose this place. We went on a Saturday and there were maybe 6-8 tables sat. Should’ve been a full house based on the quality of the food. The servers/hostesses were very polite and attentive. Also, the restaurant is very KID FRIENDLY. You’re not gonna catch any dirty looks if your kids are being kids. Bc everyone else’s kids are being kids too!!
Really solid, unfussy, high quality food. Bring your appetite. 5 STARS!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve never been to a Mexican BUFFET so I was a little skeptical. What a wonderful surprise! Everything I selected was delicious, including the lil desserts. New favorite!

Located in the Clarion Inn on Army post Rd, is this awesome mexican buffet. Authentic food and flavor.
You won’t be disappointed, unless you go on Monday or Tuesday, their closed. They are more expensive on the weekends. You’ve been warned!

Decent amount of choices for food but nothing seemed fresh and everything tasted bland. I was sad they didn’t offer chips and salsa at our table. It was a Saturday about 6:30 and the place was dead. The staff was not attentive.

Came in an hour before close, they had a party going on in the dance floor. Restaurant and bar area was still a quiet atmosphere despite that. Food was fresh and delicious. Was very happy with the flan and tres leches. I think the ground beef for the make your own tacos could use some more seasoning

I was a little worried after all the cold food comments so I stopped by at lunch when I was hoping it would be better because of the lunch crowd but there was no lunch crowd and most of the food on the buffet was not even warm. Texas has lots of Mexican food buffets and I never got cold food. I get allot of cold food in Iowa. The health department needs to pay this place a visit serving cold food is not a smart thing to do.

Don’t GO!!!!!! We went with 4 adults and 3 children. Children under 10 years old. We sat down and the waitress took our drink order. So we went through the buffet line. Several choices. Most of the food was luke warm or cold. Only 2 other people in the restaurant. Waitress never came to the table to ask if we needed anything. When we were ready to leave she said pay up front. As grandpa I paid for the meal. They automatically charge a 18 % gratuity for groups of 6 or more. WTH !!! They should be glad that anyone showed up to the restaurant. Will not go back or tell anyone to go there. Our bill was over a hundred dollars. Glad I didn’t leave a tip at the table. Bad business practice.
