Margarita’s Deli is hands down the best breakfast and sub spot around town. Everything is fresh, filling, and cooked perfectly every time. I always go for “The Super” — two eggs, sausage, bacon, pork roll, and their home-cooked home fries. The home fries are unreal and taste truly homemade. Great portions, great prices, and consistently amazing food. Highly recommend!

While down in Sayreville, doing a little fishing, we decided to stop at a place that we must’ve passed a million times. It wasn’t crowded. Our order was taken immediately. My fishing buddy ordered a Pastrami on rye with mustard, and I was going to do the same but decided to be a little adventurous, and went with Fat Margarita. The Fat Margarita is a cheesesteak, with chicken fingers, mozzarella sticks and fries on a 1/2 sub. They were out of sub rolls (@ 12:30pm on a Saturday) so I went with a round roll. I found the sandwich to be very good and felt it would have tasted even better, if I had eaten it when it was hot. My buddy said that he really enjoyed the Pastrami sandwich. The place isn’t pretty, but it’s clean, they’re efficient and you get a great sandwich, and great value for your money. We stopped at Burger King earlier that morning for breakfast, but wish we had stopped at Margarita’s. They offer up great breakfast sandwiches at great prices. We’ll be getting our breakfast (and lunch) from Margarita’s every time we’re fishing in Sayreville.
