I asked my wife where she wanted to go to dinner last night for our anniversary and after having a great prior experience she said “Marcus Grill”. I ordered the fish and chips which was excellent last visit. My wife loved her cobb salad and my fish and chips was ‘almost excellent’ until I noticed it was sitting in a puddle of cooking oil that completely saturated the bottom and actually seeped over to my fries. Not wanting to complain because our waitress was GREAT I ate and we left. I’m so disappointed because I considered Marcus Grill our new ‘go to’ restaurant. On a side note we went at 3:00 pm so there were very few customers and no reason the fish had to be rushed to serve before adequately draining the oil.

Food is decent- cater to retires. City chicken lacks spices (maybe Polish style is supposed to but I grew up different). Couldn’t tell if it was breaded once covered in gravy- otherwise very dry. Sausage is good sauerkraut is fairly sour as most people expect- don’t appear to be fermented sauerkraut but doesn’t matter if you cook fermented sauerkraut anyhow. Stuffed cabbage-good. Perogies would be better if not in the same carry out container as the cabbage and gravy- gets soggy. Soup is fair to good. Biggest complaint are the rolls- beyond dry. 2 tabs of butter and you can’t even swallow it. When you pull it out just throw it away, same every time. Wife’s panini and son’s macaroni are always good.
Marcus is a fair priced hearty option that could benefit from seasoning but chances are they would negatively impact the bland expectations of the 5 pm senior dining crowd. Nothing I’d call fantastic but not disappointing either-solid family dining eats

My family held a post-memorial service luncheon at Marcus Grill. I worked with Calvin, the Banquet Manager, and he couldn’t have been kinder or more helpful. I was stressed about not knowing for sure how many people to reserve for and he was very flexible and assuring that they would be prepared for lower or higher and just took the worry off my shoulders. He was also flexible about allowing us to bring in a cake for dessert rather than order off their menu and served it for us without charge. A nice menu to pick from. The food was delicious and so many guests commented on it. Service was excellent. It was a lovely event and a great way to end the day set aside to honor my sister’s life.

I went to Marcus Grill for the first time and had an excellent experience. I loved the atmosphere, the food, and the service. I would definitely go back and I’m disappointed that I didn’t start dining here years earlier! I had the Marcus Combo and loved all of it. It was too much food to eat at once, but I brought the city chicken home as leftovers and thought it was great once I actually ate it.

I was invited to go to lunch with friends. This restaurant was selected and it was amazing.
The service was outstanding. Everyone was so hospitable and genuinely polite. We were seated immediately as they were beginning to get busy.
Our food came out hot, just the way I love my food! One friend had Lemon Pepper Cod. She stated it was delicious, with a light and fluffy texture seasoned to taste. My other friend order Chicken Stir Fry. She stated it was extremely good and her Cranberry Lemon drop adult beverage from the bar had her humming…mmm ….good!. I had the Tuscan Chicken. It was full of flavor cooked to perfection with rice. The chicken and dumplings soup was good as well.
I must return with my husband and family! The food was too good to not return. Plus, I heard their dill pickle soup is a must try.

We hosted my son and daughter-in-laws baby shower at Marcus Grill. I highly recommend this venue. Their event space is newly remodel and was perfect for our group. We selected the one entree, one pasta family style meal. The meal included a greek salad, pasta, chicken piccata, roasted potatoes and green beans. The portions were generous, everyone had plenty to eat. Everything was delicious! Our servers were Calvin and Anthony, they kept the food and drinks flowing. Calvin was my event coordinator as well, and he took care of everything, before and during the event.
