Overall really nice experience but a tad disappointed with the food. I got the Bahamian whole catch. The fish was tender and the pancake was good, but was it really worth 75? I had similar or better for a fraction of the price. The same can be said for the filet mignon. Somewhat flavorless but the sauce did help it. What was with it… The corn bread. Its $12 but man was it good. For kids food, I do not recommend the steak and fries. Get the chicken tender or spaghetti instead. The kids steak is done very well and has an irony taste. Service was great. Very friendly and attentive staff. Would I come back? Probably not but this place has no problem finding patrons to eat here.

We started with the ceviche—fresh, bright, and perfectly balanced. For the main, the catch of the day was cooked beautifully and full of flavour. Simple, confident cooking done right.
Great food, polished service, and an upscale but comfortable atmosphere. If you’re at Baha Mar, Marcus is absolutely worth a dinner reservation.

Marcus @ Bahamar was good, not great, and not bad. Somewhere in the middle. We were seated on a beautiful deck, overlooking the night sea but were underwhelmed by their food & service. I kinda would not recommend- considering the other / available/ better options. Im sorry Marcus.

Excellent service. The fried chicken, Piccadilly sea food pasta and Bahamas fish catch were all delicious. Its pricey. The atmosphere could be improved with tablecloths.

Cornbread!! Make sure you get it and put lots of butter on there. It is so good! I highly recommend the shrimp grits, it’s very rich, but super good. Definitely a lot of calories.

We didn’t have a reservation but they insisted that we sit right at the bar even though the surrounding tables at the bar were empty!!
The creamed collard greens were delicious! The corn bread & famous chicken were not impressive at all!
The octopus was excellent! The bartenders were very nice & engaging!
I’d recommend making a reservation way in advance for the dining room.

A good place to dine overall. We went there for lunch.
Staff were accommodating and seated us without any reservations.
We had the cornbread, conch salad, conch croquettes, fried yard bird and desert.
Selection was great but a bit pricey especially for the fried chicken, which was slightly on the dry side, but sauce made up for it.
Staff was way to keen on picking up the dishes before we were done and it happened at least 3 times.
Desert was an incredible Guava creme Brule cheesecake. So light and creamy!
Definitely recommend for some island cuisine.

We absolutely loved our meal. We have two small kids, so this was our one ‘fancy’ dinner while at Baha Mar. We easily made a reservation for 5:30 (when they open for dinner) the day prior. We were seated almost immediately. The staff were incredibly welcoming and very attentive.
Food: We had the Seafood Mac & Cheese and Bahamian Catch (Grouper). Both were excellent. The Seafood Mac & Cheese came with extremely generous portions of lobster and crab. We also had the cornbread – it’s a must.
Service: Again, our servers and staff were extremely pleasant. Perhaps they noticed we we had the kids and pushed things along, but it was definitely the highlight meal of our trip.
