Pretty nice Chinese place. Been meaning to check out the food for a long time. We both got the anniversary special ($50 for 2 people) and it was plenty of food for 4 people honestly. The fried rice was good, sweet n sour chicken was excellent, mongolian beef was superb. The soup was great. I wasn’t a big fan of the egg rolls personally. Just seemed like a lot of breading. But it was plenty of food which was really nice! Oh, i didnt really care for the chow mein noodles, but thats personal preference. They brought hot towels after the meal which was awesome! The server lady was pretty sassy, but it was actually refreshing to see what seemed like the owners, enjoying their business how they like it. I would come back.

The rice was fresh, and the veggies and sauce on the Mongolian beef tasted nice. That’s about where the good part ends.
The beef was tasteless, and a bit chewy. The orange chicken was bland, the vegetables didn’t seem that fresh. The egg rolls were 100% frozen, or at least had been sitting around for a long time, then caked with thick batter and fried. The inside was chewy, and tasted like it had gone bad. Finally, the egg drop soup…I think they decided to not run the garbage disposal, and instead made soup with the leftovers from other meals.
And all this for an insane price. For 3 meals, 1 soup, and 2 egg rolls, we paid $110. Not worth it at all.

Familiar family favorites were on point and made us all very happy! Soo delicious were the garlic chicken appetizer, special chow mein, sweet and sour pork, honey walnut prawns. Tried two new to us dishes- and want to add a new one to our list of favorites- the stir fried garlic green beans with fried tofu! Cocktails were yum. Golden Peacock and Honolulu Delight were passed around and enjoyed by all. Super cheerful staff kept our tea hot and checked in on us periodically!

One of the best authentic Chinese Restaurants I have ever been to, since I moved to Seattle over 9 years ago.
My best friend and his family showed me this hidden gem when I lived in Renton.
This is truly a remakable place!!!
Also as a vegetarian I am always impressed with how fresh and delicious Golden Peacocks food is.
It truly is one of the best in the whole area.
I would highly recommend it.
Excellent customer service as well.
God bless you all.

New to the area ordered take out and Paid 49.04 for two meals. One meal was shrimp chow mein add broccoli I forget the other. The meat to pasta ratio was so off. I paid damn near 50 dollars for basically pasta. The food taste fine.

Ordered to go. -the salt and pepper pork was not good, the flavors were not balanced and pork did not taste very fresh. We also got the Cantonese chow mein which had dry pork chunks and mushy rehydrated mushrooms. We will not return. Overall taste was lacking and it was still pricy almost $20 for each dish.

We had a great meal, with excellent service. Good size portions, reasonably priced, and the owners are very friendly. This has become our go to place for traditional Chinese food.
