ordered a large pizza from Marco’s Pizza in Slidell, LA for delivery, and I’ve got to say—I was beyond satisfied! The delivery was right on time, and the pizza arrived piping hot, just the way it should. From the very first bite, I knew I was in for a treat. This was hands down the best pizza I’ve had in years! It was absolutely loaded with fresh, flavorful ingredients—no skimping here. Huge thanks to the team at Marco’s. I’ll definitely be ordering again soon!

I ordered for delivery, I was wondering what was taking so long so I looked at the time on my phone, that’s when I noticed a missed call 30min before I looked at the time. It did not pop up on my caller ID as Marcos. I called back and the guy answered, I said I had a missed call, He tells me that my pizza had been sitting up there for 40mins. I said I had ordered for delivery, he tells me to hold on, comes back on the line and said the guy pulled up and since I did not answer he brought my pizza back to the store. He asked me if i still wanted the pizza, I said of course I want my pizza, but why did he not bring it to the door. He said because the fence was closed. Well does his horn not work on his car, is the pizza fresh? He said it’s been under a heat lamp. So I finally get the pizza a hour late, I ask the driver if they usually not deliver to the door. He had a bad attitude and said maybe i should answer my phone next time, have a good night and enjoy my cold pizza. He was not lying it was not warm at all, and it sat under the light so long it was hard as a rock. I’m not sure what happened to this location, but I have never had a previous driver to be so lazy they can’t honk the horn or come through the fence. Your job is to simply deliver pizza smh. The guy on the phone said he was going to put extra points on my account and he lied, then he said he can’t talk to me about it and that a manager will contact me tomorrow. I wouldn’t even be mad about it being late, stuff happens, but if they would have just made a fresh order and sent it out then problem solved but they can’t solve problems apparently. the driver drove a newer Camaro it looked silver but it’s dark so I could be wrong about the color. Either way he needs to be fired, and also the guy who handled the situation on the phone. They did not care one bit about the customer, they pointed the finger at me as if it’s my fault.

Finally tried Marcos. Pizza looked great. Was not thrilled. Pizza is below meh and more expensive than Little Caesars. Which by the way is cheaper and tastier. I did like the crust but the rest was below mediocre. Value is not there when neither the taste or price are great. When I want great pizza I pay $20-30 and go to an independent. When I just want late night pizza because I got home late I want a fast meh pizza I will choose the best value for best taste. This does neither.

Whitney took my order and made this delicious pizza, I got the large Chicken Fresco, No pizza sauce, Add White Sauce! It was made to order! All the staff were professional and working hard! Hands down, the best pizza in Slidell (northshore), Louisiana. My favorite is ‘the works’ with pepperoni, ham, green peppers, Italian sausage, mushrooms, bacon, onions, etc. And pls don’t leave sans Marco’s Cheezybread. Their chicken dippers and wings are alright. As far as the dessert, double chocolate brownie made with ghirardelli chocolate & sauce. Marco’s portions are generous and prices are reasonable with courteous and professional service.

3 stars for the recent purchase which is today. Pre ordered my pizza at 4:30 pm as seen on the email confirmation, set to be picked up an hour later. Around 5:40 Site says the pizza is ready for pick-up so I drove there, paid for my food sat down and waited. Everyone seems to get their pick-up order quick and it’s almost 6pm still didn’t get my food. Checked with the cashier about my order, good thing she is really nice, even sat next to me and apologized. So my order “got lost” in the system they said and they need to “re-make” my pizza so I waited again as the customers walk in and out. Got my pizza at 6:15pm almost 2 hours later after I ordered.

First, the food was really good, the people working were ok. The big issue is when you order in line for a pick up and you get the time to be there, things should work. First, the tal I’m here button so they can bring it the did, didn’t work, so I went inside. ( That really didn’t bother me too much, just wanted you to know). Now, the big issue is when you order in line and it tells you a time to be there and it will be ready, needs to be close to correct!! Not arrive on time then go inside and wait another 20 minutes before the food comes out. There were several other waiting as well. Now, the staff was busy and working hard, this is not this fault, it is the fault of the on line ordering system that needs reset to be closer to the flow of business at the time you order. This needs fixed very quickly to be a lot more accurate
