I’m from Maryland and visiting CT. We just don’t get pizza as good as CT and I always head to a restaurant when visiting.
Came across Marco’s and we had a great visit. We found them on Google while traveling.
My wife and I shared the honey bacon and ricotta pizza. The thin crust was crunchy and yummy. The combination of the saltiness of really good bacon. The neutral ricotta texture, sweetness of the honey and the crunch made this a really nice pizza.
Our son is 7 and we cannot get him to eat anything. Parents I’m sure you get this one well he had the kids spaghetti and meatballs and like the movie gone in 60 seconds.
Finally we shared a tiramisu and it was a slice of joy. Not overwhelming on the sweetness which was perfect for stronger flavors of tiramisu.
Lastly our server was really friendly to our whole family and did a great job. Special mention on this one. At one point the restaurant was full and she was somehow handling it all. Definitely worth recognizing.

We love Marcos! Everyone is so kind and charming. This is a very nice place, the food is so good! We love coming here, it’s the light of our day,the pizza is the best we have had in our entire lives and with such good service. Lucie 10 YO.

The service was warm and attentive, even though the place was clearly short-staffed. The staff—especially the women working—consistently checked in to make sure everything was going well, which I really appreciated.
As for the pizza—absolutely fantastic. If you’re a fan of true Connecticut-style pizza, this spot nails it. The sauce had the perfect balance of flavor, and the crust was just right. You can tell they take pride in getting the details right.

I stopped in this pizzeria restaurant today and grabbed a slice of mozzarella pizza pie on the advice of a gentleman from the area stating this place is clean and consistently has good pizza. It is New Haven style.
There is a restaurant here if someone wants to have a sit down meal.
I noticed they have stuffed breads that sound delicious and some desserts that look delicious.
The young lady that served me was nice. She assured me with her unbiased opinion that the pizza is good here, which I verified to be true.

Amazing experience. The chef actually came out and asked if the spread of ingredients was to my liking before he popped it in the oven. Phenomenal. Desiree is so high energy, pleasant, and quick at the front of house I love talking to her when I go in!

Really great food! Awesome thin crust pizza! Best garlic knots I ever had! and cavatelli as a pasta choice? What’s not to like? And super service, quick with a smile, and already know me by name(and face)

We went for the first time tonight. It looks very unassuming from the outside. It is tastefully decorated inside and has a light/bright atmosphere and an airy feeling.The seating is very comfortable.
We shared a tossed salad (plenty) and a small white clam pizza , that was Delicious! We will be back when We visit Branford again. Our Waitress was very nice and very efficient.

The pizza was not made as ordered. It had happened once before not that long ago but decided to give another try. It was worse this time than last time. Either the girl answering the phone doesn’t know how to take an order or the person making the pizza can’t read her writing. Asked for a large all extra mozzarella, 1/2 meatball & light baked. It had no extra mozzarella and was burnt. The bottom of the crust was black. The meatballs were dry and hard.
