The GM Simone is awesome and very knowledgeable of just about anything in the Johnson st. location. The 3 for $20 rack of wine has the best choices, no cheap stuff there, just really good, European and American high class wines. Went in for 2 bottles and left with 7 for the price of 3…. I would highly advise to stop in and ask for your favorite and then start exploring the choices! Have fun.

Marcello’s is a staple in Lafayette. Whether you want to try something new or “brew your own special blends of wine, beer, or shine- they have the varieties, the supplies you need and the best advice. Their prices are a little higher than others in town, but they order WHAT you like that you usually cannot find locally. I love ❤️ Marcello’s. (They sometimes had whiskey or wine tasting –before Pandemic — and I wish they would continue that tradition– again. They made me try a lot of things I would have never tried, or bought, but now love… 🙂

I had never before been to Marcello’s Wine Market and when I went, I would love to especially thank Mr Simon Richard for all of his incredible knowledge and help. He was able to talk my wife and I through buying a bottle of tequila and has sold us on being regular customers of Marcello’s, just to experience the customer service!!! Incredibly nice guy, knowledgeable, and obviously there to help customers get the experience the owner wants them to have. Wonderful experience, 5 stars.
