Had dinner at Marcello’s and it was honestly one of the good Italian meals I’ve had in a while.
The bruschetta was rich and flavorful, the spinach pasta main course was excellent, and of course, the tiramisu stole the show , easily the highlight of the evening. Great food, cozy vibe, and definitely worth a visit.

Food is as tired as patrons. Owner is nice but he won’t have to travel far to seek inspiration. Perfect aranchino is served across the street at KCs. His version is undercooked rice and tasteless blub. Food is mediocre reminiscent of Alitalia airplane offering or Ryanair lasagna. Drinks are saving grace here

I made a reservation through WhatsApp for 2 people. They gave me a massive round table at the entrance of the restaurant, I asked if they had another table available for 2 people, the manager said no. But there’s was clearly a free table for 2 down the back. I spend my whole meal with deliveroo and Uber eats drivers next to me and people waiting for their tables. I could barely hear my girlfriend speak as the table they gave me was too big for 2 people and the delivery drivers were watching videos very loudly next to me. The food was ok, nothing special.

Lovely family-friendly place in the village. Delicious, hearty food, prepared with love! A long menu and a separate vegetarian one with loads of options. Great choice of wine and even prosecco on tap! Also a nice spot for pre-night-out drinks!

A lot of vegan options! The vegan arancini were delicious, and my mom enjoyed her aubergine appetizer and spinach cannelloni, which were both vegetarian. The tomato basil soup was underwhelming – it tased like a can of stewed tomatoes with some Italian spices added. The vegan lasagna was dry and microwaved. My son loved his vegan penne arrabiata with vegan chicken but it was lukewarm. The vegan pizza was delicious, and my mom said it was the best she ever had. The service was fantastic and we were spoiled for choice with vegan options but the food was mediocre.

Was so excited to try this place as it was my boyfriend’s birthday, ended up so disappointed. Our dishes came out within 5 minutes of ordering, too quick to be freshly cooked. The pasta I ordered was watery and tasteless, had all the signs of being reheated from frozen. We spent 24 minutes there in total, which I don’t think is normal in a restaurant after ordering 2 courses. Had to go and buy a pizza somewhere else after.

Officially our new favourite family restaurant. Thank you so much. We were visiting our eldest daughter and celebrating our 15 year old daughter’s birthday. The atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. We all absolutely LOVED the food (pizza and pasta), our 12 year old son said it was the best pizza he had ever had (and he’s had A LOT of pizza!). We will definitely be back, thank you so much.

Underwhelmed by this Italian restaurant. I heard good things about it, and I love Italian food, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hype. Pizza was only average standard, which is disappointing, especially for an Italian restaurant.
Just an average ok type of experience overall. I wouldn’t be recommending it to people, sorry to say.

The best service , food and ambience. Penne Arabiatta is fantastic. This place is vegan and gluten free friendly. Staff is so good and welcoming . Had the best Arancini and Bruschetta for starters. Dessert quantity is really satisfying
