We loved the “pan seared potato cheese pirogies” last time and naturally ordered them again. Just as excellent, highly recommend them.
We ordered off the “Dinner Special” menu this time. My husband had the “Roasted Chicken Pot Pie”.
The puff pastry on top was light and flakey. The chicken, veg, and sauce were just like homemade!
Me, I went with the “Ricotta Cheese Ravioli with Colossal Crabmeat”. Make sure you indulge in this. Sauce perfect, ravioli perfect, and yes so much crab!! Heading to a show I didn’t get a chance to update photos. Next time 🙂
PREVIOUS REVIEW : Pirogies were excellent! It’s always a gamble to get, trust me, these were perfect.
My husband had the blackened chicken quesadilla. They were a little heavy on the green peppers, but really good. I had the turkey club on sourdough bread. It was massive and delicious. In addition treated myself to the root beer float. I like a little more ice cream with my floats. Just a personal preference.
We are planning to return there are many other things on the menu we would like to try we did give into the desert craving and got the lemon pound cake with vanilla ice cream. Scrumptious
Our recent visit to Marathon Grill was an absolute pleasure. From start to finish, everything about the experience was seamless and enjoyable. We had a reservation but arrived a bit early, and the staff kindly seated us right away, a nice start to what turned out to be a standout meal.
Our server, Greg, was exceptional, attentive, courteous, and well-informed. With my gluten sensitivity, dining out can be tricky, but Greg navigated it gracefully. He was knowledgeable about the menu and, when unsure, double-checked with the kitchen to ensure everything was safe for me. His care and professionalism were deeply appreciated.
The food? Excellent across the board. I opted for the special of the day, an ahi tuna salad, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was impressed by how many gluten-free options were available, which made ordering feel relaxed rather than limiting.
Everyone at the table found something to love. My boys were thrilled with their choices, the Marathon Burger and the cheesesteak, both hearty portions served with crispy fries. My husband also selected a daily special, broiled mahi mahi tacos, and raved about the flavor and texture.
The entire meal was served quickly and arrived at just the right temperature, a testament to the kitchen’s timing and quality. Beyond just being a great restaurant for those with dietary needs, Marathon Grill proved to be a versatile spot for the whole family.
Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a delicious, welcoming, and well-run dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning!
I got a Cesar salad as my side, which was tasty too.
For a drink I had the latte, which was good.
The booth was comfortable, and being there for an early dinner meant it was quiet and easy to talk until the normal dinner rush started coming in.
I got two meals out of my order, so I was extra happy about that 🙂
Perogies were some of the best I’ve had
Steak was on point and cooked properly
Mac and cheese was awesome!
Will definitely return when in the area!
Everyone was very friendly and made you feel comfortable. Manager made sure we were happy and enjoyed our meal. Very nice guy.
Food was very good. I liked that they gave you a little jelly for the toast and ketchup on the side for potatoes so that you don’t have to ask the server. Pancake was soft but also a little crispy on the edges which I liked a lot.
Would definitely come back.
