Wow!!! The flavour was out of this world. So so good! The burger was simple but so tasty. Fries were perfect and the dip to go with it just topped it all off. Husband got the special which was beef ribs and he really enjoyed it as well.

Random Thing
Everything was sooo delicious. We had a pit master and the Mac and cheese, and both were out of this world. The brisket was falling apart on our forks, and melting in our mouths. The pulled pork was a little sweet and a little spicy, just right for me. The meats were very high quality, and the fat was just as good.
The service was amazing, everyone was super nice, and we got smoky popcorn to eat while we waited.

We had a dinner there as a part of Dine Chilliwack event. Every bite (and sip) was delicious! I never heard of hush puppies, and now I’m a fan haha. Pulled pork melts in your mouth. Even the butter is delicious! So glad we discovered this place close to home. We’ll definitely be back! And I heard one better book on Friday nights.

Our new favourite spot! We’ve now been here 5 times, and without fail, it gets better each time! Maplewood Smokehouse has the most incredible staff, each member is kind, funny, knowledgeable and uniquely genuine in their own way. The food and drinks are, in my opinion, top tier, and honestly 5-star bbq restaurant worthy. The atmosphere makes you feel so at home, I am a big foodie and without a doubt this is my go to place for a good quality meal, amazing company, and the best overall experience. I will never stop raving about my new favourite home away from home! Thank you Maplewood, for the recent memories and experiences, and cheers to all those to come in the future!

While visiting Chilliwack from Winnipeg, we absolutely had to try the Maplewood Smokehouse. Started with the smokey popcorn and then moved to the Pitmaster which we shared along with the Mac and Cheese. DJ, the bartender, recommended the Winter Sangria with a smoking cinnamon stick. Chef Jesse came out and explained the Pitmaster and all the sauces. Everything was INCREDIBLE! At the end of the evening, the owners, Jesse and Amanda joined us at our table. Full disclosure, Jesse is our son.

We ordered from Maplewood Smoke House for my dad and myself, and it was absolutely incredible! The food was perfectly smoked, tender, and full of flavor — you can tell they really know what they’re doing. The chef even came out to chat with my dad, who’s a huge smoked-meat enthusiast, and they had a great conversation about different techniques and methods. It’s rare to find that kind of passion and hospitality these days. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was buzzing with warmth (and the irresistible smell of maple-smoked BBQ). The service? Impeccable. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home.
But the real star? The FOOD. Every bite was pure perfection—deep fried pickles (made in-house, of course), juicy brisket, and the most flavorful pulled pork I’ve ever had. Hush puppies stuffed with pulled pork and cornbread with a honey butter that will make you swoon. And don’t even get me started on their house-made sauces… **chef’s kiss**
I could go on but what you really need to know is if you love BBQ (or just amazing food in general), Maplewood Smokehouse in Chilliwack is a MUST. This is exactly what this city needs and trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Absolutely remarkable. I recently went alongside my family of 3 and were blown away by basically everything. We got a Pit Monster Experience, along with one of their poutines, and came out stuffed. Other smokehouses struggle in 1 or 2 categories or items, making them feel like fillers, there only to increase prices on your meal. Almost every item they make is homemade, from their barbeque and hot sauces to the most phenomenal pork ribs that are somehow ridiculously tender but also smoky throughout. Infact, basically every item we were served had the strongest smoky flavours I’ve ever experienced. Even their popcorn was amazing.
Other notable items were their mac-and-cheese, their garlic sausage (with Carolina Gold Sauce), Brisket. smoked chicken wings and weirdly enough, their (supposedly limitied) beetroot salad. Take any major smokehouse chain in Canada (Montana’s for example) and they all cannot hold a single candle to most items on the menu. The best part is, they are both around the same price.
If you ever are around the area, just come and order their wings, brisket, ribs or other items and try to not be impressed from the first bite. Amazing all around, will definitely be back.

I had an incredible meal at the Maplewood Smokehouse. It started off with the complimentary smoked popcorn, which was so good and something I’d never had before.
I ordered the Pit Master Experience and highly recommend it. The pulled pork was incredible – literally the best I’ve ever had. Not surprisingly then, the pulled pork hush puppies were also sublime.
