Since they are new I am sure they are working some things out.
-if you order an appetizer, expect it to come out either with or after your Pho entrees. We ordered the summer rolls and expected them as a true appetizer but were told that is not how they do it there. All good, just good to know that it comes out after your meal. We have been to Pho many times and this was the first time we had that experience and the app took so long we ended up asking to cancel it as we were almost done our meals.
-There was only one waitress, she was very attentive but seemed really busy. As they get busier I’m sure they plan to add more.
I had the pho Tai, so good. A traditional pho bo base, hints of star anise and cinnamon, nicely balanced of sweet and saltly. The broth is not clear so it has a nice umami. Husband had the pork bun sub. He liked it, said the pork was actually sweet. Veggies were crisp as I heard the crunch as he ate it.
We have a pho place again! I brought the leftover broth home to drink later. And the bathroom signs are a riot. Don’t worry, they’re 1-at-time bathrooms.
Bringing this to a cultural food desert ( good on you !)
Menu is solid and easy to understand for new and experienced PHA diners alike.
Broth ( the heart of this Cuisine) I not to savory and not to sweet. Great choice to target a wider range of customer.
Service is decent for being a new establishment.
Recommendation- make a kids portion with less broth and a laminated how to for younger ones can learn to build their soup ( you will create more fans this way)
– add beef stew and some other dishes for the on adventure guest in a group. ( hit more targets a this wet)
Pricing is well a casualty of today’s economic situation on supplies. But as this place grows I expect the pricing structure will adjust once volume in sales goes up.
Met the owner and he is a solid young man trying to bring this to a berry rural crowd, Good for him!
