This deli came highly recommended, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the reputation. It has a very old-school, “lived-in” vibe that feels like it’s been there forever—which some might love—but for us, it just felt a little tired.
The service was friendly, though don’t expect a “fast-food” pace. They fly their bread in from New York, but even with those frequent flyer miles, my Cuban sandwich was nothing to write home about. In fact, I had a much better one the very next night at a different spot.
At the end of the day, it was a very simple meal with a price tag that felt a bit high for what we actually got. We liked our food but it wasn’t special.

Love the food at this local little non stuffy spot but the service is sub par and honestly they sometimes come off as rude. I still go because the sandwich is so good and I’m not there to make friends.
It’s a very local hole in the wall with a Mom & Pop feel which I prefer over a franchise.
I always get the Italian and take it back to the beach to eat it on the water.
If you need super friendly local vibes this isn’t the spot for you.

My husband and I both had the Philly and were very pleased. The bread alone is amazing but every part of the sandwich was great. The staff was nice and the space was clean.

Best sandwiches in NSB. The AC is always cold, so it’s amazing to chill there after being in the beach the whole day. The employees are friendly and helpful. Jordan, the chef cooks amazing, and Olivia the server is really sweet. It’s so much fun to go have food there and say hi to everybody.

This is a casual deli type place with great sandwiches! I ordered half a sub and had two meals out of it. Everything I’ve ever eaten here has been excellent and it’s right on Flagler Ave.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. The staff member who took my order was unprofessional and spoke to me in a dismissive way. I was told my food would take about 20 minutes, but several people who ordered after me received their meals much earlier — she even brought their food to their tables, while no one bothered to let me know when mine was ready.
When I mentioned that the avocado was missing from my sandwich, the same girl handled it in a careless and unpleasant way.
I rarely leave reviews, but the service and attitude here were truly disappointing. I won’t be coming back.
