Overall it’s just really mediocre for the price. Chilaquiles were decent but the chicken fajitas had no flavor or marinade with tons of barely cooked green pepper. Chips were great, mild salsa could use less cilantro and more flavor, spicy salsa was better but not balanced. Margaritas took forever and weren’t good enough. Servers were really great and attentive. Restaurant has a really comfortable layout and cozy decor. Entered excited to try, left wanting better food.

Amazing food and atmosphere. Been going here since I was a child. This resteraunt never fails. I tried their El Special (chicken chimi with a special cream cheese sauce)last night since it was on the cover of the menu, it tasted like my homemade enchiladas but on steroids. The El Patron Margarita was amazing as well. Perfect spot for a date night or family gathering.

MIL’s favorite restaurant, so we had a largeish group there for her 90th birthday. Service was someone who always takes care of her–Felix, I think? He was spot on, accurate and friendly. I really liked the chips and guac my husband ordered for the group. He’s vegan and loves their veggie fajitas. I had a nice relleno but might try something else next time. Oh, good salsa, too. One year later. Flauta lunch dish was very standard fare: popular place with safe, standard Mexican food for Yankees. MIL is a very regular customer, and they treat her very well. Oops!! Family went for usual Friday lunch, forgetting it was Cinco de Mayo–Mistake!! SO, so crowded!
