I stopped by Kelsey’s Original Roadhouse while waiting for an appointment and had a great experience. The service was exceptionally friendly—Allie was fantastic. She offered great recommendations, not just from the menu and daily specials, but also things to do around the area, which was a nice touch.
The food was excellent, the drinks were well made, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Definitely a solid spot to visit if you’re in the area.

First time at this location. We ordered a 10oz steak (medium well) with shrimp and 2 handhelds (beef tenderloin and messy fish). Steak was fried to perfection with a side baked potato.
The beef tenderloin, bacon and swis was served with choice of side dish (caesar salad). Beef was very tender and not dry at all.
The messy fish looked very big stacked on top.of each other. The batter was very crunchy and the fish, tender and juicy inside. We choose angry fires for our side dish..
Food was great (quality, portions and taste) with complaints. Our server Sam Z did a great job helping us and the kitchen was quick in getting our order to us to eat.
Restuatant is big and with a bar, many has many tvs everywhere. Great place to relax, enjoy the game or having a meal with friends or family…

Food was good, service was great. We had ordered a mix of appetizers and entrees and forgot to tell the waitress to bring out the food whenever they were ready. We ended up waiting at least 30 minutes after placing the order until all food came out all at once. Great place to have a lunch/dinner gathering, felt like we could hang out as long as we wanted without feeling the pressure to leave after the meal.

We celebrated a Team Appreciation Luncheon here and had a fantastic experience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and the food selection was excellent—everything from the appetizers to the main courses was well-prepared and flavorful. The team especially enjoyed the desserts, which were a perfect way to wrap up a great outing away from the office.
A special thank you to Rachel for her outstanding hospitality and attention to detail. Her courtesy, including helping us capture group photos, added a personal touch that made the event even more memorable.

My wife and I stopped here for dinner tonight and we couldn’t have been happier! Our server Alexis was so fun, attentive and all around great. She made me a killer mocktail pina colada! We will be back next time we are in Markham! Highly recommend this Kelsey’s location.

Went for lunch at Kelsey’s not expecting much, and it was better than I thought. Our server Rachelle was attentive and welcoming despite being busy at times.
My father and I had the the spinach dip app, Blue Cheese Wedge Grilled Beef Salad, and the Chicken Mac and Cheese.
Dip was decent, I’d say $16 regular cost is a bit pricy for dip and pita slices. We got it half off cuz of Wed special so it ended up okay.
Salad was good. Take a bite of the iceberg lettuce to cleanse mouth if blue cheese flavour gets too strong. Beef came grilled on a skewer, nice flavour.
Mac n Cheese unlike a lot of places that do it baked in cast iron skillets. It was a bowl of some short twisty pasta coated in a delicious, thick rich cheese sauce. Few chicken tenders on top, little dry. Pasta+sauce=great, have half, take the rest home, your tummy will thank you and your arteries won’t.
Pleasantly surprised.

Edit: I have changed the overall rating after getting an explanation for our poor experience last night. I appreciate hearing back from the manager, as this shows they they truly care and for their brand and establishment, and are eager to provide the best experience for their patrons – and I can respect that 100%. Thank you and I look forward having a great experience when we’re in there again next.
Edit 2: We went back there again on 12/27/2025 and the food quality was back up to how it was before. The food was plated well, the portions were good, and most importantly the food tastes great.
