We had an early dinner here. My husband saw a location in Cave Creek while on one of his routes for work. I looked it up and found there’s one close to us in Goodyear. The service was great, drinks were great, atmosphere was great. Food was amazing!!! We got there about 1-ish and were surprised to learn that happy hour was going on. So we enjoyed our margaritas even more. Food was great, I recommend this place for sure!

We walked in right before closing, they still offered to serve us. The food was delicious and Gustavo was very hospitable. The steak was seasoned well, the chicken enchilada was delicious, beans tasted fresh so did the tortillas. The chips were thin, crispy and hot. The salsa was pretty good too. We will be returning customers.

Well, we went here for a late lunch last week, and Manuel’s is firmly entrenched in my top five restaurants for Mexican food, and it will be in yours too. The problem I have when dining here is that I fill up on the fresh warm tortilla chips with hot and mild salsas before I receive the main course. I just can’t stop eating them. Lol. Really, in all honesty, it is not a bad problem to have as I can eat the main course for dinner or breakfast. I had the Pollo Especial lunch size, and my partner had the Chimichanga lunch size special. We also had an open face cheese crisp for the appetizer. I heartily recommend the Pollo Especial. On a previous occasion, I had the Tres Amigos enchiladas, which is another amazing entrée. It would not be complete without the house margitas to wash it all down. So very well prepared and tasty. The staff were all very courteous and came around multiple times to see if everything was to our liking. I have only gone twice, but I will be frequent Manuel’s often.

Had a surprise birthday party here last Friday. The restaurant was wonderful at accommodating 20+ people (on a Friday night no less!) and our waitress, Miriam, went absolutely above and beyond to make sure all 20+ of us were happy & well taken care of! I can’t say ENOUGH great things about how wonderful she was! Very pleased with the food, atmosphere, and amazing staff! Thank you for a wonderful memory! We will DEFINITELY be back! Just maybe not with 20+ people 🙂

The shrimp and steak rolled quesadilla was unexpectedly very good! I was hesitant because it was “rolled” but the flavors were exactly what I was looking for. My wife had the combo fajita platter which she liked but it was a little less food than other places we usually go, and they only give 2 tortillas (which is why we have the 4 stars. Good fresh guac, salsa and chips. The drinks were priced well but a little light on the alcohol. Server was very nice!

Had dinner here on a Friday night as a family of 5, less than a 15 minute wait for a table even though the restaurant was super busy we were seated promptly. Absolutely amazing service from our waitress all the way down to the bus boys. Chips and drinks were never empty and the staff was so polite!! We have been disappointed the last few times going out to dinner as a family because of poor customer service, but not at this Manuel’s! Staff AND food was above and beyond and we will be returning in the future because of it. Keep up the good work Goodyear!
