This place is amazing. Salsa that comes with chips is really good. Big portions and the food is fresh. I got the Birria combo and my girlfriend got enchiladas. Prices are super fair. Highly recommend!

Small hole in the wall which is what makes this place very good very authentic. My go to’s are huevos con chorizo, tortillas hechas a mano, frijoles de la olla, agua de piña. Chilaquiles are good. Asado tacos are good! Hand made tortillas are what brings me back every time 🙂

Craving Mexican food we discovered this literal hole in the wall just walking back to the car. Best decision we made was to stop by and check it out. Immediately as you walk in you are greeted by the charming traditional decor and homey warmth you get when visiting Mexico. The food was fairly price but absolutely delicious. And our waitress Ana was beyond amazing. We have decided this will be our new go to.
If you like Authentic Mexican foods and flavors you must check this place out.
Thanks you guys at Manuelito’s for an amazing experience!!

This place always comes up as an option in a delivery service provider and decided to try them. Their wet burrito was ok, while the sauce was flavorful. The pozoles, on the other hand, was incredibly disappointing. It lacked flavor and the flavor it did have tasted like excess fat from the meat. After dumping about a quarter cup of Rooster Sauce (cayenne pepper hot sauce) the soup came to life. At least all the toppings supplied were fresh. They did have other soups I wouldn’t mind trying but do not believe I could justify the cost of getting it delivered. Maybe when I’m near by….maybe.

Had breakfast there on a Sunday. Place was clean, service was good and food was great. The decor and vibe felt like an authentic Mexican joint, not what I existed on Ventura Blvd in Tarzana.

My husband and I stumbled upon this hole in the wall and we were not disappointed. We bought two taco plates de lengua asada and carnitas made with tortillas made by hand ✨ I also bought a sope (which was HUGE) and an horchata.
Pros: Tortillas made by hand were authentic and delicious , lengua was juicy (felt like it was steamed) and could be even better with a tad bit of salt.
Asada was okay good seasoning but lacked juicy ness.
Carnitas was light and flavorful while still maintaining some crunch.
Highly loved the horchata, it’s light and not too sugary.
The sope was really big (see pictures) I was expecting a small sope but this could of been it’s own meal.
Cons: Service is a bit slow, I was there alone and still took some time but not too bad. Seasoning on some items require a little bit flavor.
Overall my husband and I will be coming back to try more things on the menu.

Best caldo de res and caldo de pollo in the San Fernando Valley. Authentically decorated and peaceful dining area. I also love their hand made tortillas and pineapple aqua frescas.

I ordered the tacos, two hardshell and two homemade tortilla lingua tacos, Absolutely delicious five stars. But the surf and turf burrito lacked flavor and only had two small shrimp in this big burrito. Don’t get me wrong. I will order here again for pick up, but will not be getting a Surf and turf burrito. The folks were nice and courteous. I will definitely go back.
