Our first family-owned company was founded in 1930 in Burgos, Spain by Don Manuel Benito and his wife, Doña Claudia Ortiz. It all started with a small food truck where they would only sell churros and buñuelos. As our family expanded, the Manolo Trademark spread out to many countries in South America including Uruguay, Argentina, Peru, Costa Rica and Panama; and in 2004 we opened our doors here in Miami. Always with the constant desire of being recognized for our characteristic flavor profile, optimal customer service and high quality homemade products, we will continue to strive for excellence and for meeting our high-valued guests’ expectations.
Pan-Latin sandwiches, pizza, burgers & churros for dessert in basic digs with a cafeteria feel.

The place was very crowded and noisy, but you can still have a conversation. The atmosphere is very Uruguayan-Argentinian, with all the traditional dishes, and it feels like a little escape to home. The venue itself looks like an old club
Food portions are huge, the milanesas are massive (definitely for sharing), the pascualina is good, the empanadas are outstanding, and the mashed potatoes are made with real potatoes, worth it
All drinks are served in plastic cups, which honestly feels cheap and not very hygienic for a place with otherwise great food. They offer free Pepsi refills in those cups, or you can choose coke in a can instead
My biggest disappointment were the churros. As a Uruguayan, I was expecting real dulce de leche, but they’re filled with an American-style caramel instead. After years of trying the ones at Manolo in Punta del Este, the difference in flavor is huge
Overall: great service, authentic atmosphere, but noisy, generous portions, delicious food, but the plastic cups and the churros could definitely be improved
We also tried the lágrimas and several smoothies, and everything was really good. Great quality, generous portions, and authentic flavors that reminded us of home.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and a warm, welcoming place. We will definitely be back.
We are from the Midwest and were not familiar with some of the items on the menu. All of the items we ordered were tasty. We were hungry and good thing because the portions are huge. We definitely took “to-go” boxes.
Wait staff stayed busy throughout our time there, with new customers coming in. Many, although were not assigned to us, assisted in filling our water glass, removing dirty dishes, etc.
