Very nice atmosphere. Visiting from Miami. Had excellent breakfast with a family vibe. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Huge space and clean. You come in and you go to cashier and order your food. They have specials. The price is very affordable. The bacon amazing. Grits hot and tasty. Eggs fluffy and real! I’ve known Dale and his crew for many years, and it’s so nice to see his restaurant grow in these tough times. He has his mother’s recipe for friend chicken, but the mint tea is a must on the menu to try, it’s amazing. Also, you get to see some art work by Leroi Johnson, an international recognized artist who is a highly respected lawyer by day.

Went with a group of friends and overall we all enjoyed our meals. I had the Fried chicken with red beans and rice which came with cornbread. The chicken was juicy and seasoned well. I really liked the spice combination on the skin. The beans and rice weren’t magical, but where very good. As was the cornbread which had corn kernels in it. Never had it that way and Iike the little surprises when I got a kernel in a bite.
